Mechanic laments as he sold two of his cars to travel to canada only to find out the Agent duped him, Takes him to Côte d’Ivoire 

A mechanic has been left devastated after his plans to travel abroad fell through.

According to the man, the trouble began when he reconnected with a long-time friend who claimed to be in Canada and offered to help him join him there. Without hesitation, the mechanic sold two of his cars for 30,000 cedis (equivalent to N3 million), believing this would facilitate his move to Canada.

However, he later discovered that his friend had scammed him when he reached the Ivory Coast.

She said: “When I arrived there, my friend, who claimed to be in Canada, visited me after I went for the said interview in the Ivory Coast. She confessed that there was a business opportunity in the country and wanted me to join. At that point, I felt very sad and told my friend that her deceit had negatively affected him.”
