A 25-year-old woman named Anja Christoffersen has shared her experience of being born with a rare condition called VACTERL association and cloaca, which left her without an anal opening and with two vaginas.
In a TikTok video, she explained that these conditions caused her urethra and anal openings to merge into one hole.
At five hours old, she underwent surgery to create temporary openings for her bowel and bladder.
Later, at seven months old, she had a complex reconstructive surgery to create three separate openings, allowing Full pelvic reconstruction.
