Maroon and Miriam David, a couple who revealed they are siblings, shared their story of falling in love while growing up together.
They explained that their relationship began as they shared things and rooms, which led to developing romantic feelings.
When they opened up to their mother, she disapproved, calling it a “taboo,” and eventually chased them out of the family home. As a result, they rented a small apartment to be together.
In a interview with Afrimax, Her brother, Maroon, he said: I had a typical african upbringing, went to school, finished high school and then fell in love with my sister, we have been living together has husband and wife
“Our love journey began when we were young we spent a lot of time together and shared almost everything, we could share food, a room and even a few clothes like T-shirts, However the close we became the more we develop romantic feelings for each other, eventually we had to confess our love.
“Unfortunately, we were not in a supportive environment so we couldn’t openly share our relationship with anyone despite this, we continued to be intimate until one day our mother caught us in the act she was shocked and couldn’t believe what she was seeing we had to explain everything to her including how we found ourselves falling in love with each other… However, she didn’t accept our explanation and eventually chased us our of our family we then had to rent a small room where we live they tried to separate us and prevent us from loving each other but we believe it is impossible
Mariam on her part said: “I live with my brother and as we grew u we found ourselves developing dee love for each other, we were willing to sacrifice anything to protect and maintain our relationship.
“Parents tried to bring up various points about how what we are doing is taboo and how it would not only bring a curse upon ourselves but also entire family however she simply had to follow our hearts and our own feelings we believe we are old enough to choose what we want and pursue it we are prepared to face any consequences that may arise but personally i don’t see anything wrong with what we are doing it just that people have this outdated mindsets and misconception.”

A 28-year-old beautician, Carolina Isabel Marenco Laurens, has tragically died after undergoing an unauthorized liposuction procedure performed by a colleague at the dermatology clinic where she worked.
Carolina reportedly trusted a male surgical assistant at the clinic, who carried out the procedure in a facial massage cubicle while supervisors were absent — and without official permission or medical oversight.

According to NeedToKnow, the procedure took a fatal turn when Carolina began convulsing and lost consciousness. Realizing she had stopped breathing, the colleague alerted other staff members for help. One staff member called emergency services while others attempted to resuscitate her. The incident occurred on April 24.
Paramedics arrived but were unable to revive her, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A forensic examination revealed extensive bruising on her chest and abdominal area, with clear signs of invasive surgical intervention. Authorities believe she may have been given an “excessive” dose of anesthetic, which was also found at the scene.
Investigators later determined the cause of death to be “vascular trauma to the left side of the face and temple.”
While the colleague responsible has not yet been arrested or taken into custody, he remains under investigation for manslaughter. Detectives are also looking into how such invasive surgical equipment came to be accessible in a dermatology clinic.
Carolina’s lawyer, Bryan Torres, told local media “We will be pursuing legal action against both individuals and entities involved in this case.
“We will also be working closely with the Attorney General’s Office to ensure a thorough investigation and that the facts are fully clarified.”
A woman named Ronjera has shared her surprising journey to motherhood, revealing she gave birth to quadruplets—despite initially just hoping for one baby girl.
In an interview with Truly, Ronjera said that when she first found out she was pregnant, her 7-week scan showed she was expecting triplets. But later on, doctors informed her that she was actually carrying four babies.

Reflecting on their early start, she added, “We got married at 18 and 19 years old. We’ve basically been raising kids ever since. Going from three to seven kids was a huge change for us.”
On how she and her husband are managing to raise both older kids and babies, she explained: “We’ve really tried to lean on each other. Communication is everything.”
She also recalled how her older children reacted to the news of the pregnancy: “I remember Carlos just looked at me, completely shocked. And Christian did the math right away and said, ‘Four plus three—that’s seven! Mom, we’re gonna have seven kids!’”
Despite the chaos, she says her sons have been incredibly supportive. “The boys are amazing. They love their baby brothers and sisters. There’s no jealousy at all. They help around the house without being asked—they truly love doing it”

Later today, the cardinals will move into the Sistine Chapel, where the solemn and secretive papal conclave will begin. During the conclave, they will be completely cut off from the outside world. Mobile phones will be surrendered, and the area will be sealed off with jamming technology to prevent any external communication.
The 133 eligible cardinal-electors, representing 70 countries, will cast their first ballots today in hopes of selecting a new pope to lead the global Church into its next chapter.
