I don’t want to be a Mom, We have been married for 16yrs but we decided not to have children but love each other more

Two Russian couples, Evelyn and Alexander, have revealed that they have been together for 16 years and have decided not to have children.

 They disclosed that their decision is not due to fertility problems but a mutual vow to always love and protect each other until the end of their lives.

How they met, Evelyn told Afrimax: “We met for out first date on a rainy autumn day at an apartment block and it quickly became clear that we are meant for each other his dependability was what truly attracted me to him interested he never sent me any gifts early on, the first gift he gave me was a ruler and an eraser because he was still a student despite its simplicity, this gift was very special to me and held great significance after i finished my studies, he surprised me by showing up in a car with a bouquet of flowers just 3 months later, we got married.”

Their decision not to have children, Evelyn said: “We often don’t talk about it because people are quick to judge for 16yrs, we have loved each other but have consciously decided not to have children we are happy with each other and prefer not to add more people to our household our reasoning is straightforward, its partly about finances and also about the climate factor.

“Additionally, we are investing in other business project rather than spending our resources on raising children … for us this decision feels right.”
