Popular Kannywood actress Saratu Gidado has passed away.
Her family confirmed that she was found dead at her apartment on Tuesday morning, April 9th. Reports indicate that she had gone to sleep after Sahur, the early morning meal during Ramadan.

Before her death, Saratu Gidado was well-known for her comedic roles and made her debut in 2000 in the movie “Linzami Da Wuta,” produced by Sarauniya Movies. Her sudden death has saddened many in the Kannywood film industry and beyond.
Her death comes days after actress Adejumoke Aderounmu died at 40
