I always think I would never find love due to my skin condition but i was surprised until my husband came into my life

Karine De Souza, who suffers from the rare condition xeroderma pigmentosum, has bravely spoken out about the challenges she faces, including the ridicule she and her husband endure from others.

She revealed that people have often questioned her husband’s love for her, suggesting that he may be with her for personal gain or her wealth.

Karine’s condition prevents her from being exposed to sunlight or any form of light, forcing her to spend her days confined indoors.

She made it known that she has been suffering the disease since she was little, she had undergone more than 200 surgeries to remove skin lesions.

How she felt being bullied about her skin, she said: ” even today when i walk on the streets, I see people talking speaking low, looking differently.”

Finding love, she said: “I thought i would never find love but that was when i was surprised with my man, Edmilson, that’s when he came and showed me that i could live a true love story .”

How they met, karine husband said: “We met through social media, I thought her life story was interesting, it caught my attention, then i sent a friend request, i started liking all her photos and everything she did the same and we started exchanging messages, we spent 5months exchanging messages, i didn’t live here, i live in Rio de Janeiro she came and stayed for 3 or 4months and at the end of that period, she had to go back her life was here and mine wa dthere after a while i came to stay with her permanently and we have been together ever since.”

“From the moment i came to live with hr, she never went to an appointment without me, if i was working elsewhere, I’d arrive late or i’d miss the job, i was always by her side.”

How they came up about starting a family, Krine said: “Since the beginning of our relationship,we always talked about starting a family and we were waiting for the right moment”

“Having a child was always a dream of mine so when i met karine and we were together i saw she was the right person to give us our daughter.” Her husband Edmilson continued.

How they people when people judge their relationship on social media, karine said: “I have got a lot of good people there but there are also the people that attack, i get a lot of attacks even till today because he’s a young good looking man that caught attention, people didn’t believe he was with me because he really liked me we suffered several mean attacks people saying that he didnt love me that he was with me for his own interest that i was rich while some said that we wanted attention.”
