British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi and Ego, has died after suffering a fatal medical complication following a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand.

Ubiribo, 43, was on holiday in Bangkok with his wife, fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen, when he underwent the cosmetic procedure in March 2026.

According to evidence presented at an inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court, about 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected into his penis at an unnamed clinic in Thailand.

After the procedure, Ubiribo and his wife reportedly returned to their Marriott hotel and went for a massage. During the massage, he complained of chest pain before losing consciousness twice.

He was rushed by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was initially able to respond to questions. His wife informed doctors that he had recently undergone penile filler injections.

Doctors suspected that Ubiribo was suffering from a pulmonary embolism and recommended a CT scan. However, he lost consciousness before the scan could be carried out.

He was subsequently transferred to intensive care, where medical staff performed CPR for more than 100 minutes in an attempt to save his life.

Ubiribo died in the early hours of March 6, 2026.

A postmortem examination conducted in the United Kingdom later found cellular material in Ubiribo’s lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used in the filler injection.

Pathologist John du Parcq told the inquest that the material found in his lungs was consistent with the substance injected during the procedure and supported the finding of a pulmonary embolism.

Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently ruled that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic procedure.

A pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood vessel supplying the lungs becomes blocked, and it can become life-threatening when blood flow to the lungs is suddenly restricted.

Before his death, Ubiribo had built a large following on Instagram, with around 185,000 followers, and was known for sharing aspects of his luxurious lifestyle.

Reports said he owned a home in Los Angeles valued at about $1.1 million and an apartment in London worth approximately $600,000.

He married Danielle Simba Allen in a lavish ceremony in Zimbabwe in 2022.

Following his death, Ubiribo was buried in London in a gold coffin reportedly worth more than $745,000.

A 15-year-old cartel assassin and his drug boss uncle have been killed during a gun battle with security forces in the western Mexican state of Michoacán.

The teenager, identified as Alberto “Chuchito Nini” Sandoval, was reportedly part of Cartel de Los Reyes, where he oversaw a team of hitmen and used his social media accounts as a tool to recruit other minors into the cartel, according to the Michoacán Attorney General’s Office.

It was also revealed that Sandoval served as the personal bodyguard of his uncle, Luis “El R-5” Barragán, 39, who was the leader of Cartel de Los Reyes and wanted by the United States over drug trafficking charges.

The deadly gun battle occurred on August 30 after Mexican military forces, National Guard troops, the Michoacán Attorney General’s Office and state police launched an operation following intelligence about Barragán’s location.

Security forces reportedly arrived at a ranch in the municipality of Tocumbo, where they were met with gunfire.

Sandoval and Barragán were pronounced dead at the scene following the confrontation. It remains unclear whether the teenager took part in the exchange of gunfire.

Before his involvement with the cartel, photos reportedly linked to Sandoval’s Instagram accounts showed him as a younger child wearing a Chivas de Guadalajara jersey and posing with a football.

However, other images showed what appeared to be his later life, with the teenager pictured wearing tactical gear while carrying firearms.

Mexican security analyst David Saucedo said Sandoval’s story reflects how some young people become involved in criminal organizations, especially when they are connected to cartel families.

According to Saucedo, many major drug trafficking groups operate as family networks, with leadership often passed down between relatives.

“Cartels are handed down from fathers to sons, fathers to nephews, uncles to nephews, or between siblings,” he said.

Mexico’s Security Minister Omar García Harfuch revealed that the United States had formally requested the extradition of Barragán, who became the leader of Cartel de Los Reyes after its former boss, Alfonso “Poncho la Quiringua” Fernández, was captured by the military.

The US government had offered a $3 million reward for information leading to Barragán’s arrest. He was wanted on drug trafficking and firearms charges filed by a federal court in Washington, D.C.

Barragán was also identified by authorities as a leading member of Carteles Unidos, a faction involved in Mexico’s ongoing criminal conflicts.

A 22-year-old San Antonio man who lives next to an elementary school has been arrested after investigators linked him to disturbing conversations with an AI chatbot about obtaining a gun and attacking children at the school.

The man, identified as Nathaniel Michael Carrasco, was arrested by San Antonio police after the FBI was alerted to a series of threatening queries he reportedly made through Anthropic’s AI chatbot, Claude.

According to an affidavit, the messages were sent between August 11 and August 28 and referenced an alleged plan to attack Serna Elementary School.

Anthropic has safety systems designed to detect serious threats involving violence, child exploitation and terrorism. When the company identifies what it considers a credible threat or plan of violence, the information can be escalated to authorities.

The FBI reportedly received the alert on August 28 concerning messages linked to Carrasco.

Among the searches investigators cited was a request for images of “dead school kids bleeding.”

Carrasco allegedly became more direct in other conversations, saying he was “getting a gun as soon as I can” and planned to enter Serna Elementary and “shooting up kids.”

“I truly do mean my threats,” he allegedly wrote in another message.

The school named in the conversations is located next to Carrasco’s home, according to investigators.

Investigators initially said they were able to “tentatively identify” Carrasco as the person behind the messages.

The Southwest Texas Fusion Center later obtained emergency disclosures from T-Mobile, Charter Communications and Google, which authorities said helped positively identify him.

Carrasco was arrested by San Antonio police shortly after 11 p.m. on August 29.

He has been charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony, and is being held at the Bexar County Jail on a $250,000 bond, according to jail records.

If convicted, Carrasco could face between two and 10 years in prison.

According to Romanian prosecutors, Andrew Tate recruited a girl in 2012 after misleading her about his intentions to pursue a relationship with her.

Prosecutors claim that he later subjected the girl to threats, emotional blackmail, surveillance and physical violence while controlling her activities.

The girl was reportedly made to produce pornographic material and participate in videochat activities for Andrew Tate’s financial benefit. Prosecutors further claim that she was repeatedly transported between the United Kingdom and Romania and housed at properties in Voluntari, Tunari and the Pipera area until December 2021.

Romanian authorities say the Tate brothers received about $1.25 million, representing approximately 80% of the revenue generated from the girl’s videochat activities.

Prosecutors accuse Tristan Tate of managing her accounts, monitoring her work and handling the money while knowing her age and the circumstances surrounding her recruitment.

DIICOT, Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism, also alleges that Andrew Tate engaged in sexual acts with another 15-year-old girl between December 2020 and mid-2021.
The brothers are also accused of attempting to influence victims and witnesses by offering them money, phones and legal assistance.

Romanian prosecutors further claim that between December 2023 and July 2024, the brothers purchased four vehicles and registered them in the names of associates in an effort to conceal the source of the funds used to purchase them.

DIICOT is seeking the confiscation of four luxury vehicles estimated to be worth €825,000, as well as the equivalent of the $1.25 million prosecutors say was generated through the exploitation of the minor.

Authorities have also requested the extended confiscation of other assets linked to the brothers.

The charges will now be considered by the court as the legal process continues.

Andrew and Tristan Tate remain presumed innocent unless and until they are found guilty by a court.

A British priest has been reported missing after he disappeared during devastating floods in Nepal while leading a pilgrimage group.

The priest, identified as 65-year-old Nabhi Nandan Das, runs the Sanatan Mandir and Community Centre in Coulsdon, Surrey.

Das was reportedly leading a pilgrimage tour organised by Alpine Eco Trek when disaster struck in the Rasuwagadhi area near the Nepal–Tibet border on August 26, 2026.

His family said they have been unable to contact him since he sent them a message before the disaster.

His last WhatsApp activity was reportedly recorded at 3:57am UK time on August 26.
Das’s cousin, Dee Shah, described the family’s pain as they continue searching for him and the members of the pilgrimage group.

She said: “On 26 August 2026, our family’s lives changed forever.

“Our mum’s cousin, Nabhi Nandan Das, a gentle, spiritual and deeply loved 65-year-old British citizen, went missing during the devastating floods that struck the Rasuwagadhi area on the Nepal–Tibet border.

“He was travelling as a priest and group leader, guiding 16 pilgrims aged 18–65 on a spiritual tour with Alpine Eco Trek when the disaster hit without warning.

“Since then, we have had no contact.

“His last WhatsApp activity was at 3:57am UK time on 26 August.

“No messages.

“No calls.

“No updates.

“Just silence.”

Shah said the entire group had also remained unaccounted for as the scale of the disaster continued to emerge.

“All 16 members of the group remain unaccounted for,” she said.

“Entire communities were swept away.

“Roads collapsed.

“Communications vanished.

“Families across Nepal and Tibet are still searching for loved ones.

“Every hour without news is heartbreaking.

“But we will not stop searching for Nabhi or the group he was responsible for.”
According to Shah, Das had spent decades supporting people through difficult periods of their lives and was deeply committed to his religious and community work.

She said: “Nabhi is a father, brother, cousin, friend and priest who has devoted his life to serving others.

“He spent decades helping people in their hardest moments, offering guidance, comfort and compassion without ever asking for anything in return.

“He was selfless in the truest sense of the word.

“He led this pilgrimage because he believed deeply in spiritual connection, community and kindness.

“He cared for every member of his group as if they were family.

“He deserves to be found.

“They all do.”

The family is now urgently raising funds to support the search effort and help expand the efforts to locate Das and the other members of the pilgrimage group.

For his relatives, the search continues with the hope that they will receive news about their loved ones after the devastating floods.

A Staten Island man has survived after being struck by lightning while walking to his car during a thunderstorm.

The man, identified as Thomas Fahmy, was hit by the lightning last Thursday as he made his way to his vehicle, which was parked outside his home.

CCTV footage of the incident showed Fahmy walking through heavy rain with an umbrella over his head. As he moved away from his white picket fence, a bolt of lightning suddenly struck him.

The impact caused him to collapse to the ground. Despite the frightening incident, Fahmy survived and was seen moving on the ground as he tried to recover.

He was also heard repeatedly saying: ‘Oh my god!’
Speaking to local media about what he experienced after being struck, Fahmy described feeling intense pain and a burning sensation in his body.

He said: ” It was a very tense, burning sensation. Tingling, numbness, pain – severe pain in both of my feet.”

A neighbour named Stephanie, who heard Fahmy calling for help after the strike, said she immediately went outside when she realised something was wrong.

She said: “I heard…….Help me, help me, so I ran to my door and saw him on the ground.”

Although the lightning strike left Fahmy shaken and in pain, he did not suffer any visible burns or major injuries.

He was taken to Northwell Staten Island University Hospital, where doctors kept him overnight for observation.

Fahmy was released from the hospital the following day.

Following the incident, Malliotakis released a statement on Monday expressing her relief that her staff member survived the lightning strike.

Her statement read: “We are grateful that Thomas, a member of my congressional staff is alive and well after being struck by lightning last week.

“I thank the Good Samaritan who ran to his aid and the medical staff at Staten Island University Hospital who treated him”

A 39-year-old tourist has tragically died after she was struck by lightning while taking a walk along a beach with her partner in Brazil.

The incident happened on August 28 at Praia da Pinheira in Palhoça, as the couple were seen walking along the sand before briefly stopping.

At the time, the area was experiencing rapidly changing weather conditions, with rain, strong winds and intense lightning activity reported across Greater Florianópolis.

The victim was identified as 39-year-old Endinara Gonçalves Arezze, a tourist from Caxias do Sul, where she had reportedly worked for a paper and forest products company.

Endinara was walking along the beach with her partner when lightning struck her. Her partner was not injured in the incident.

Following the lightning strike, her partner immediately began performing CPR before emergency responders arrived and took over the resuscitation efforts.

Despite the efforts to save her, Endinara sadly died following the incident.

Gunmen have reportedly demanded a ransom of N20 million for each of the abducted National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members who were kidnapped while travelling from Bayelsa State to Abuja.Please Follow our Whatsapp channel here

The corps members were among passengers travelling after completing their three-week orientation exercise when the incident occurred along the Aloma-Egane Expressway in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

According to reports, the victims were travelling in a convoy when gunmen intercepted their vehicles and abducted several passengers.

A family member of one of the abducted corps members told Daily Trust that the kidnappers had contacted the family and demanded N20 million for her release.

The family member said: “One of our daughters who was kidnapped on her way from Bayelsa State to Abuja after completing three weeks orientation camp. The kidnappers are requesting N20 million naira,”

The incident has caused concern among the families of those still being held by the kidnappers, with relatives hoping that security agencies will secure their safe release.

The Kogi State Police Command had earlier confirmed that some passengers, including NYSC members, were abducted along the route.

The command also disclosed that 11 abducted persons, including the drivers of the two vehicles involved, had been rescued during a joint operation carried out by security personnel.

However, efforts were still ongoing to locate and rescue those who remained in captivity.

The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu, disclosed the development in a statement issued on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

According to Iniedu, the intelligence was received on August 26 and indicated that the two Colombian nationals had been fraudulently brought to Nigeria, where they were allegedly held against their will and had their travel documents confiscated.

The police said the women were allegedly held by certain Chinese nationals, who fled the location when officers arrived and are currently being sought by authorities.

The statement reads:

“In a major breakthrough in the ongoing fight against transnational organized crime, operatives of the Nigeria Police Force attached to the National Central Bureau (NCB-INTERPOL), Lagos Annex, have successfully rescued two foreign nationals lured to Nigeria and held captive by a human trafficking syndicate.

“The successful operation followed actionable intelligence received from INTERPOL-NCB, Bogotá, on August 26, 2026, regarding two female citizens of Colombia, identified as Maria Camila Rodas Ortiz and Yuliet Fernanda Rios Mesa. The victims were fraudulently lured to Nigeria, held against their will, and had their travel documents confiscated by certain Chinese nationals who are currently at large.

“Upon receipt of the intelligence, police operatives promptly launched a covert tracking operation, locating the hideout in Lagos where both victims were safely rescued on the same day. The fleeing suspects abandoned the location upon sighting the approaching team, and efforts have been intensified to track down and arrest all members of the syndicate.

“The rescued victims are currently in safe custody and receiving necessary support. The Colombian Embassy in Accra is working in close collaboration with the Bureau to secure hotel accommodations for the victims and arrange emergency travel documents to ensure their safe return to Bogotá.
