A woman named Caroline has come forward to share a deeply personal account of how she believes her involvement in witchcraft negatively impacted her life.

Caroline says that instead of bringing her any benefits, her alleged initiation into witchcraft has left her with nothing to show for it and has actually made her life worse than before. She reveals that she has lost everything.

Once a journalist, Caroline had a career that allowed her to interview many well-known figures, including celebrities and entrepreneurs. However, she believes her life took a dark turn when she unknowingly interviewed what she now identifies as evil spirits.

She said to afrimax : “I was opportune to to interview some musicians in kenya, tanzania, uganda let me just say east africa, nigeria congo, central africa, you know UK, US you name it all musicians used to come to kenya, i used to be given the opportunity to interview them due to my unique skills and i thank God for that so i did the interviews and also did exclusive interviews at the same time, i was also opportune to be assigned interviews with them, Since i was daring, I was assigned to interview witchdoctors , Morticians, Mortuary attendants and evil spirits because then most of my colleagues were scared but i was daring so i remember at some point during my first interview i was able to speak with evil spirits.

“I remember on the first interview, I was with my colleague and we went there into witchdoctors then it was so scary, it was somewhere within east lands and it was very huge, so the first thing i saw was 7 pots full of blood and i asked the witch doctor what was the purpose of the blood and he told me that it was a food for the evil spirits I didn’t quite understand and then, I wanted to know where the blood were from animals or what type?? I didn’t know what i was getting myself into but he told me that the blood are from animals I didn’t know it and i didn’t want to dwell into it but all i did was i saw the pots were seven and then they had huge straws inside the pot full of blood so I Inquired then he told me that the evil spirits used the straws to drink blood from the pots so i didn’t want to say much and then he showed brief cases full of money a thousand notes they were millions actually

“So i remember after this interview, before i we began the interview, I was a bit scared so the witchdoctor requested that we go back home and come back after 1 week so we went and came back after 1 week later, so upon arrival, we were ready so his goals was to entice the evil spirits, It was so scary but i don’t know it was too late, we could not just change our mind because we were already there, me and the photographer so he began enticing the evil spirits by burning incense chanting rituals and using hand bills

“So as the spirits were coming the witch doctor lost control or rather he was still, he went still he went like a dead person and then we were there and we were so scared with the photographer and i remember we kept holding hands because there was no way of escaping we were already locked inside there with the evil spirits and the man was still the man we were talking to was already still so we were just there waiting for the worst probably to happen so i remember when they came in the first one came in when the first one came in they were speaking pure kswahili not english but pure kswahili and wa sjust saying “Tuko hapa mwanangu” meaning “Here I am my daughter” that was what they said the first one, the second one the third one when the fifth one came in I lost my memory then the sixth one and then the seventh one they were able to restore back my memory these are evil spirits so they can do anything

“So i remember my meory was restored back, I could hardly speak because i was scared, My colleague was not even saying anything we just kept holding each other hands and then when i got the courage i remember asking them their role and they quoted the verse in the bible which says: “Kill, steal and destroy” and i was even more scared and then i inquired from them where they came from where they live and why they had to take too long, they told me the reson why they took too long after being enticed is because they were coming from various oceans they lived in the oceans……. so they mentioned Indian ocean, Pacific ocean and Atlantic ocean and arctic ocean but they were five oceans that they mentioned

“So they told me when they are being enticed, they come from there and come and drink the blood and then go to various countries then they told us you see human beings and you want to go to the US or the UK you take like more than 10 hours like indian for instance you take 7 hours by flight but them they say they take 5 minutes to fly to any country they have been assigned to after taking what they came for they made a sacrifice and then they go and enter into that person and then they bring that person home that is when you see somebody disappears for 10years and then comes back home after 10years they told me they have been assigned to do that so they do that on regular basis

“They requested that they want to talk to my late father and i said the bible tells us there is no connection between the living and the dead and then they requested if i would talk to any of my late relatives i said no and then the photographer was just quiet at that time i think he was shocked so after the interview i remember he reqested to take photos of the evil spirits and they agreed so he took pictures as we were looking at the camer it was a quality camera we could just see bones like skeletons that was what we saw so we could hardly understand so we continued taking pictures of the skeletons, he was excited and then by the time the evil spirits were done I inquired from them alot of things they were alot of stuffs like that and then they warned me not to write anything negative about them or they would come for me to know where to get me that is what they told me and i said i would never do that

“So i remember after the interview when the spirits began leaving there were no need to entice them because they were already been enticed so they were just leaving and we could hear the sound of bell like a bell ringing like somebody ringing a bell and they leave one by one”

She explained that her life took a turn for the worse after an experience.

She added: “I Remember at upon leaving, the pictures disappeared from the camera shock on me shock on my colleague, we dont know what we are going to tell the company because the pictures were there they were skeletons then they disappeared so i didn’t know so i was shocked so after that, I developed complications, health issues, i had severe headaches I was not okay at all I was critically ill and my colleague too, so i decided to go to a nearest church upon leaving the witch doctors then, my colleague I think he didn’t believe in all those things so he said he didn’t see the need to go to a pastor but me i went and i remember the pastor prayed for me and then i told the pastor i have had an encounter with the evil spirits and he prayed for me, deliverance was conducted and i think that somehow saved my life and as of that, I still underwent and i have been undergoing deliverance sessions and prayers with more than 50 pastors in different churches

“My colleague did not see the need of going to a church or prayers, 6 months later one day when i was walking in town i remembered someone tapped by back and when i turned it was a witch doctor and he told me the evils spirits are very excited with the story, i remember when the story came out when it was published it sold thousands of copies like never before and they told me that I would sell the evil spirits so after the witch doctor tapped me on the back I had to go for deliverance appropriate sessions again, My colleague refused, 6 months down the line, he died I remembered he fell ill and died so me i think i am alive by the grace of God after that, even when i got to my house I could hardly sleep because i could hear things waling in my compound, within my bedroom, my house, i was not just okay things were just walking, funny sounds i didnt understand, i used to go for prayers but things were not just working for me so well”

When asked on what made her virgin since all this years, she said: “I didn’t like making friends or getting close to men, often guys would come up to me and say they loved me but i was always busy with may things also whenever a guy approached me, i would first look at him and try to figure out if he had a good future ahead.

I would look at the man and think about whether if i started a relationship with him, we would become rich or stay poor at that time, i thought i was being really smart by thinking this way but now i can see the result of those choices.”

Narrating on how she comes from a family where they choose a man for them to marry, she said: “When i was younger in our family we had a rule where you marry a man chosen by your parents, but i always told my dad that I didn’t want to marry a man they picked out for me, I wanted to fall in love with a man i found on my own, because of this, i often to stay away from home to avoid the man my father wanted me to marry, If a man came to our house and i thought he was there to marry me i would run away and no one knew where i went, In my mind, i believe that age did not matter i also thought that as long as i was a virgin i wouldn’t miss out on marrying well.”

Her regrets, she said: “Today i feel like it’s my fault for causing all of this not having anyone with me.”

A Nigerian woman living in India has taken to social media to compare her experience of living in the country with life in Nigeria, particularly when it comes to the cost of mobile data and some everyday expenses.

In a video shared on her TikTok page, the woman explained that she spends about 400 Indian rupees a month on a mobile plan that allows her to make calls and use data.

According to her, the monthly data allocation is enough to last her until the next billing cycle, something she contrasted with her experience of using mobile data in Nigeria.

Speaking in Pidgin English, she said:

“I no come here to come compare nigeria to india, But some kind things wey i know say we no get You no the way we dey cry to our governmrnt wey dem no go do that kain thing for us, I talk about two things or three things some of una dey vex, someone talk say he dey nigeria he get light 24hours for the past 3years abi 4 years because he dey use solar”

She questioned whether everyone could afford to install solar power systems simply to compensate for unreliable electricity supply.

“Na everybody no fit buy solar? when person dey complain about government, dem no dey complain because for some of una get small money buy one of two things but we dey complain about some people wey no fit buy those this….. Make we dey talk about data, I dey buy data of 400 rupees every month and that 400 rupees (400×12= 4,800) na 4,800 recharge card i dey use for a year when you recharge that 400, you use am as data you go use am as normal call, there is nothing like enh this month recharge card did not reach one month Imagine some kain time wey you go recharge for full year wey no even reach 100,000 naira this money (4,800 rupees) no even reach 100,000 naira but na the money wey i dey use for data in a year, I go watch film use am con tire there is nothing like you use it too much they cut it

“Unlike nigeria wey dem go promise use 5gb for one week e no go reach 2 days e go finishdo you know what it means not to use 1,000 naira but better cloth for here (India) the 1,000 rupees na him dem dey take buy clothes and na the money the average baddies dey use buy clothes”

A Nigerian man identified as Oyeniran John has taken to Facebook to question the requirements reportedly given to him by a church before he could officially marry his partner.

John shared a list of items he was allegedly asked to provide before the church would conduct the marriage ceremony.

Social media influencer César Gastélum has tragically lost his life after he was shot while livestreaming with two friends in Culiacán, Sinaloa State, Mexico.

The 24-year-old was reportedly attacked at around 8:15 p.m. on Monday, August 4, while filming content outside a KFC restaurant.

According to reports, César and his two friends had dressed as food delivery riders for a social media challenge when the attack occurred.

Witnesses said the trio were livestreaming outside the restaurant when an armed man approached the scene.

The suspect reportedly stopped in front of César, pulled out a firearm, and opened fire before fleeing the area.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene after the shooting, but César was pronounced dead.

In a voice-over accompanying the viral video, a woman narrated that the incident began last Thursday when Wasilat allegedly decided to record the Ololu Masquerade despite warnings that it should not be filmed.

According to the narrator, Wasilat reportedly insisted that if others were afraid to record the masquerade, she would do so herself.

Translated from Yoruba, the narrator said:

“She went to record the Ololu Masquerade and posted the video on TikTok. She was boasting that the Ololu people said no one could record it, but she had successfully done it.”

The narrator further alleged that after sharing the video online, Wasilat later returned to the community, crying and claiming she was bleeding and asking people to help her.

The voice-over also claimed that traditional rites were later carried out as part of efforts to appease the masquerade.

According to the translation, Wasilat was allegedly made to wear a red cloth and had a snail hung around her neck during the traditional process. It was further claimed that those involved in the rites insisted that her hair be shaved by her mother as part of the ritual.
