The dramatic footage reportedly shows the moment a man carefully pulled the baby from the debris on Tuesday, August 11, after the infant and his father were trapped underneath the rubble.

According to reports surrounding the rescue, the father had managed to protect his baby while they remained trapped beneath the collapsed structure.

Several people gathered at the scene and worked through the debris, carefully removing the rubble as they searched for survivors.

The baby was eventually located and brought out alive, turning what had been a devastating scene into a moment of relief for those involved in the rescue.

The rescue came a day after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck parts of western Colombia on August 10, causing widespread destruction and leaving thousands of people affected.

At least 181 people have reportedly been killed, while another 2,595 people were injured in the disaster.

Authorities have also continued searching for people who remain unaccounted for following the earthquake.

According to Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella, at least 195 people remained missing, although civilian-run databases reportedly put the number considerably higher, at nearly 4,000.

As rescue teams continue working through collapsed buildings and damaged communities, the survival of the baby has provided a rare moment of hope amid the devastation.

Woman Arrested Nearly 30 Years After Murdering her Daughter

A 48-year-old Texas woman identified as Maria Narez has been located nearly three decades after she allegedly caused the death of her 3-year-old daughter, Kasandra White, in Fort Worth.

Narez was wanted by authorities after allegedly assaulting her daughter in November 1996, when she was 19 years old.

According to court records reviewed by Fox 4, Narez was indicted by a grand jury the following year but disappeared after a judge reduced her bond to $25,000.

A warrant was subsequently issued for her arrest in 1997 after her bond was forfeited. Authorities said she fled across the border and remained out of sight for almost 30 years.

According to reports, Narez was working as a grocery store clerk when the incident occurred at her Fort Worth home.

She allegedly became angry after her daughter refused to go to bed and began beating her before throwing her against a wall.

Narez reportedly told investigators that she had been feeling depressed and stressed before she lost her temper.

Fort Worth Police Department Sergeant Fred Pendergraf was quoted at the time as saying:

“It angered her. She picked the baby up by the chest under her arms, threw her against the wall and her head struck the door edge,”

The toddler reportedly complained that she was hurt but eventually went to bed.

Narez later took her daughter to a hospital, where the child reportedly lost consciousness and died.
Despite Narez’s disappearance, authorities continued efforts to locate her.

In a statement, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office said:

“The DA’s office never gave up on bringing Narez back to face the charge against her and answer for the d£ath of her daughter,”

Authorities have now located Narez in Mexico, where she had reportedly remained for almost three decades.

Additional details about the circumstances of her arrest and what she had been doing during the years she was missing were not immediately disclosed.
Narez is expected to be extradited from Mexico to Tarrant County, where she will face a capital murder charge connected to her daughter’s death.

The District Attorney’s Office thanked several agencies and officials involved in locating and apprehending her, including Mexico Interpol, the U.S. Marshals Mexico Foreign Field Office, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of International Affairs, as well as investigators Tiffany Johnson and Victor Espino-Nevarez and Assistant District Attorney Steven Elliott.

Workers Wade Through a Sea of Garbage as Severe Flooding Hits Manila, Philippines

Workers in Manila, Philippines, have been forced to wade through heavily polluted floodwaters as they battle to remove enormous amounts of garbage carried into waterways by the ongoing flooding.

Follow the Elizabethblog channel on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDQN5lI1rcbSgriLG2M

Dramatic scenes from the affected areas showed sanitation workers surrounded by a vast collection of waste as they attempted to clear the debris and allow the water to flow.

Boats and cranes were deployed during the cleanup operation, with workers navigating through what appeared to be a sea of rubbish dominated by countless plastic bottles and other discarded materials.

Among the debris was even a lone Crocs shoe, highlighting the extraordinary amount of household and everyday waste that had accumulated in the floodwater.
The Redemptorist Water Channel in Barangay Baclaran was reportedly among the areas worst affected.

Refuse collectors were seen working in extremely difficult conditions, with some reportedly submerged up to their necks in dirty water and visibly covered in mud and debris.

Photographs from the area showed that the amount of rubbish was so extensive that the floodwater itself was barely visible beneath the layers of waste floating across the channel.

Workers continued using boats and heavy machinery to remove the accumulated garbage as authorities dealt with the impact of the flooding.
The flooding has also reportedly affected residential areas, with water entering and surrounding homes in affected communities.

OnlyFans Model Courtney Clenney Sentenced to 6 Years in Prison Over Death of Nigerian Boyfriend Christian Obumseli

Miami OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter in connection with the 2022 death of her Nigerian boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.

Follow the Elizabethblog channel on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDQN5lI1rcbSgriLG2M

Clenney entered the guilty plea during a court hearing on Monday, bringing an end to a case that had remained in the courts for more than four years.

Under the sentence, she will receive credit for time already served in custody and will also be placed on five years of probation after her release.

She must additionally undergo a mental health evaluation and follow any recommended treatment.

Clenney had initially faced a second-degree murder charge, which could have resulted in a sentence of up to 30 years in prison if she had been convicted.

The case followed the death of Obumseli in April 2022.

Clenney had maintained that she acted in self-defence, claiming that she grabbed a knife during an altercation with Obumseli.

However, prosecutors maintained a different account of the incident, arguing that the stabbing occurred as part of what they described as an escalating pattern of violence.

Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said the plea agreement was reached with the knowledge and approval of Obumseli’s family.

In a statement, she said:

“With this plea agreement, Christian Obumseli’s family finally heard what they long sought: Courtney Clenney accepting full responsibility for his death. This plea was reached in full consultation and approval of Christian’s family,” the statement read. “The Assistant State Attorneys handling this case have remained focused on the core evidence that Clenney stabbed Christian Obumseli as part of a pattern of escalating violence toward him. While nothing can heal the wounds caused on that day in April, I hope today’s guilty plea brings his family a measure of justice too long denied.”
Following his daughter’s guilty plea and sentencing, Clenney’s father, Kim Clenney, said he was relieved that the lengthy legal battle had reached a point where he could look ahead to his daughter’s future.

He said:

“What matters to me now is that for the first time in more than four years there is an end in sight. Courtney has a future ahead of her, as her father I’m looking forward to that day that she can begin living her life……I am looking forward to the day I can sit across from her face-to-face and hug her and tell her how much I love her.”

Clenney had remained in jail without bond while the case continued through the court system.

The case later expanded beyond the original murder charge after prosecutors accused Clenney and her parents of unlawfully accessing Obumseli’s laptop.

That computer-related case took an unexpected turn when a judge found that prosecutors had improperly accessed material covered by attorney-client privilege.

The computer-related charges against Clenney and her parents were subsequently dropped.

Clenney’s defence team also sought to have the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office removed from the murder case, arguing that she could not receive a fair trial with the office continuing to prosecute the matter.

The guilty plea has now brought the central criminal case to a close, with Clenney set to serve her six-year sentence before beginning five years of probation.

Moment Donald Trump Switches Planes on His Way Back From Turkey as Iran Threatens His Life

President Donald Trump reportedly made a secret aircraft switch while leaving Turkey following the NATO summit, in an elaborate security operation reportedly designed to conceal his whereabouts amid an Iranian threat against him.

Follow the Elizabethblog channel on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDQN5lI1rcbSgriLG2M

The Switch caused a stir after reports revealed that Trump did not actually travel on the aircraft journalists and some White House personnel believed he had boarded.

According to reporting by The Washington Post, The New York Times and Reuters, Trump was moved from the visible Air Force One aircraft to a smaller C-32A military jet as part of a deception operation intended to protect him from a credible threat.

Trump had travelled to Ankara aboard the newer Boeing 747-8 donated by Qatar, which had undergone extensive work to prepare it for presidential use.

However, after the NATO summit concluded, Trump publicly boarded an older Air Force One aircraft, creating the impression that he would be travelling back to the United States on that plane.

At the time, Trump had reportedly given a different explanation for his decision to use the older aircraft.

Earlier reports said the White House had described the aircraft change as a security precaution, while Trump himself suggested that the older plane was being used for practical reasons and that the newer aircraft would be made available for other purposes.

New reporting has now provided considerably more detail about what allegedly happened behind the scenes.
Trump reportedly left Air Force One through a catering truck

According to officials familiar with the operation, Trump secretly left the older Air Force One after publicly boarding it.

A catering truck equipped with a lift was reportedly positioned alongside the aircraft. Trump was then allegedly transported inside the vehicle to the smaller C-32A, which was waiting elsewhere at the airport.

The operation was reportedly designed to prevent people watching the presidential aircraft from knowing which plane Trump was actually travelling on.

Video footage described in reports showed a catering vehicle being positioned near the aircraft before moving away, followed by a person in a suit making their way toward the nearby military aircraft.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reportedly boarded the C-32A separately using the aircraft’s normal stairs, helping maintain the appearance that the flight operation was routine.
The elaborate operation reportedly followed intelligence indicating a credible threat from Iran or Iranian-aligned forces.

Earlier reporting from CBS News said U.S. officials had detected a credible plot involving a possible missile attack against the president’s aircraft. The Secret Service subsequently recommended using the older Air Force One, which has defensive systems specifically designed for presidential travel.

The newer Qatari-donated aircraft had been retrofitted for presidential use, but officials had raised concerns about whether it possessed all of the defensive capabilities of the older presidential aircraft.

The latest reports suggest the security operation went even further than simply changing planes: authorities sought to make it difficult for observers to determine which aircraft Trump was actually travelling on.
]The operation reportedly fooled journalists who believed they were travelling with Trump aboard the older Air Force One.

Some White House personnel were also reportedly unaware that the president had secretly left the aircraft.

The decoy plane subsequently continued toward RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom, while Trump’s C-32A also travelled to Britain.

According to reports, the two aircraft arrived only minutes apart, allowing Trump to later rejoin the presidential entourage.

Retired Firefighter Left With Permanent Brain Damage After Eating Raw Oysters

A 44-year-old retired Illinois firefighter and Marine Corps veteran has reportedly been left with permanent brain damage after falling critically ill following a meal that included raw oysters.

Follow the Elizabethblog channel on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDQN5lI1rcbSgriLG2M

The man, identified as Joe Belgio, went into cardiac arrest on June 30, 2025, three days after eating the oysters, according to his attorney and a lawsuit filed over the incident.

Belgio reportedly suffered a prolonged loss of consciousness and oxygen deprivation that left him with severe and lasting brain injuries.

According to Belgio’s partner, Melanie Stayer, the couple had been out celebrating with family when he ate the oysters.

What began as an ordinary family outing reportedly turned into a medical emergency that would permanently change Belgio’s life.

Melanie Stayer speaking to ABC about the incident

Reflecting on what happened, Stayer said:

“This was a casual day with a casual man at a restaurant that he wanted to celebrate life with his family, and life can change so quickly,” Melanie said

According to Belgio’s attorney, Scott O’Sullivan, Belgio went into cardiac arrest three days after consuming the oysters and lost consciousness.

O’Sullivan told ABC 7 Chicago that Belgio “lost consciousness and oxygen for at least eight minutes.”

Joe Belgio before the tragic incident

According to Belgio’s attorney, doctors later tested him for bacterial infections and found several pathogens in his system.

The lawsuit alleges that Belgio contracted two types of bacteria after consuming the oysters: Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) and Plesiomonas shigelloides.

EPEC is a type of E. coli associated with intestinal illness, while Plesiomonas shigelloides is a bacterium commonly associated with aquatic environments and can cause gastrointestinal illness, particularly after consumption of contaminated food or seafood.

The lawsuit names the restaurant and two seafood suppliers, including Supreme Lobster and Seafood Company, according to ABC 7 Chicago.

The allegations contained in the lawsuit have not been established in court.
The consequences of Belgio’s medical emergency have reportedly been devastating.

After spending months in a coma, he was left with severe brain damage and now requires extensive assistance with everyday life.

His attorney described the extent of his condition, saying:

“He is most likely bedridden for the rest of his life.
“He is extremely brain damaged, with very little cognitive capacity, and will need care for the rest of his life.” His lawyer said

The family is now facing the enormous challenge of caring for Belgio while dealing with the long-term consequences of his injuries.
A GoFundMe campaign established to support Belgio and his family describes him as a loving father, a Little League coach and a man committed to serving others.

Before his health crisis, Belgio’s life reportedly centred around his family, community and service.

His loved ones are now seeking financial support to help cover the extensive care he is expected to require.
