I Paid for Her PhD After She Moved to the UK With Me in 1969. She Came From a Very Poor Background – Man Claims Wife Falsely Accused Him of Raping His Daughter, Leading to His Deportation
Speaking during an interview, the man said he got married to his wife in 1968 before relocating to the UK in 1969. According to him, his wife joined him in 1970, where he continued to support her academically.
According to him, he financed her PhD studies, paying £11,000 annually for three years, amounting to a total of £33,000.
Reflecting on the sacrifices he made, he said:
“I married my wife from a very poor family. I tried to help her and educate her. My life investment was on her.”
“I paid for three years for her PhD. £11,000 every year.”
The elderly man alleged that his life took a tragic turn after his wife accused him of raping their 14-year-old daughter, an allegation he insists was false.
He claimed the accusation eventually led to his deportation from the United Kingdom back to Nigeria.
He further alleged that following his deportation, his wife instructed their children not to communicate with him, leaving him isolated from his family.

“I married my wife from a poor family, took her to the UK in 1970, spent £11,000 every year to train her in school up to PhD. When she saw she was established, she took me to court in the UK and lied that I rap£d my daughter of 11 years so that I could be deported.”
