FBI Houston issues public wanted alert for scammer who wears wig to defraud people

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Houston office has issued a public wanted notice for a man identified as Saad Said, a federal fugitive accused of large-scale fraud and evading a prison sentence.

According to the FBI, Saad Said failed to surrender in 2021 to serve a 30-month prison sentence after being convicted of defrauding victims of more than $1 million.

Authorities say the suspect remains at large and is believed to still be active in fraudulent activities within the Houston and Galveston areas.

In its public alert, FBI Houston stated:

“#WANTED Saad Said is a federal fugitive who failed to surrender for his 30-month prison sentence in 2021 after defrauding victims out of more than $1 million.

Investigators believe he may use wigs to alter his appearance and continues to commit fraud in the Houston/Galveston area.
Help FBI Houston and the U.S. Marshals apprehend Saad Said by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI with any tips!”
