Woman arrested in South Africa after setting boyfriend’s house ablaze over money meant for alc0h0l
A South African woman, Nosipho Motsa, has been arrested and charged in court after being accused of setting her boyfriend’s home on fire in Mncitsini, Swaziland, following a dispute reportedly linked to alcohol money.
According to reports, the fire caused extensive damage to the property and nearly resulted in a tragic outcome. It was alleged that Motsa locked herself inside the burning flat during the incident.
Neighbors were said to have intervened quickly, forcing their way into the building to rescue her.
Her Boyfriend identified as Nkosingiphile Hleta, 43, has also been accused of assaulting Motsa during the same altercation, which reportedly escalated into the fire incident.
Both individuals appeared in court on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, as legal proceedings continue.
