My Grandma Spirit Appeared to Me – Woman Shares How She Survived a Severe Asthma Attack

A woman has shared a deeply personal account of how she believes her late grandmother helped save her life during a severe asthma attack.

Amber Baker, who has suffered from asthma since childhood, described a terrifying health crisis in November 2018 that she says changed her life completely. The incident, which she referred to as her “worst flare-up,” was made more severe by a bronchial illness that left her struggling to breathe.

According to her account, her condition deteriorated to the point where she required emergency medical attention. She recalled the overwhelming sensation of being unable to breathe, describing it as though there was immense pressure on her chest.

During the most critical moment, Amber said she became overwhelmed with fear and began praying to her grandmother, Elaine, who had passed away the previous year. As her condition worsened, she prepared for the possibility of death.

She then lost consciousness.

Amber recounted that during this time, she experienced what she believes was a spiritual encounter, in which her grandmother appeared to her.

She said:
“When my grandmother’s spirit walked into the room, I was gasping for air and in crisis.

“When I saw her, I knew she was answering my prayer for help.

“She came to my bed and helped me breathe.

“I was elated to be in her presence as she was my best friend and I was very close to her growing up, and I missed her so much.

“I was also so relieved to have her help me.”

Describing the physical intensity of the attack, she added:
“I could barely talk or walk without being completely out of breath.

“It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest and every breath was a strain and a fight.

“It was the scariest time of my life.

“I kept praying to my grandmother in spirit and the angels to help me because I truly thought I was going to die.”

Amber explained that she had been alone when the attack began and was unable to reach her phone for help. She believes that at that moment, her grandmother appeared to assist her.

She continued:
“I saw a white, hazy figure walk through my door and come to me, immediately laying her hands over my forehead.

“She began to calm me and breathe into my body and chest.

“My whole body started to go up and down and I felt as if my chest was opening with every breath more and more.

“I was completely taken over by her essence, given one breath after another, breathing open my chest and feeling peace and love.”

She also described sensing another presence during the experience:
“There was a presence next to me on the left named Mary.

“She was pure, unconditional love and didn’t say anything but felt like an anchor.”

Amber went on to describe a series of vivid sensations and messages she believes she received during the experience:

“I was on my side and then my grandma’s spirit moved me to my back and my hands automatically went up as if to receive.

“She said ‘receive’ over and over again.

“I felt another layer of opening and the tightness began to subside as my whole body was permeated by a rapture of love and deep breathing, opening my whole chest and torso.

“I asked her to please not stop until I could comfortably go to sleep.

“Knowing I was communicating directly with my grandma, she assured me she wouldn’t.

“I was totally aware of what was happening, and completely astonished but grateful at the same time, knowing she was saving my life.”

She further described what she interpreted as a spiritual encounter beyond her grandmother’s presence:

“His frequency filled the entire room and all of my awareness.

“He had a warm, orange, reddish glow.

“His features weren’t defined the way we see a person – he had the shape of a human form, but his body was fluid energy, moving like water, glowing with light.”

Amber said the experience deepened into what she perceived as a profound spiritual awakening:

“They said that I am just a seed in the universe, a physical body that is not bound by my physical body but boundless to unlimited consciousness and power.

“As my mind expanded into this awareness my body felt smaller and farther away.

“I could feel myself tapping into an omnipresent, omniscient power and entering another level of consciousness.

“I knew I was meeting God.

“I was travelling into a vortex of white light.

“It was more than a meeting – it was an activation of a state of being that was divinity itself and that was me; I was God and my divine presence activated.”

She also claimed to have received messages from spiritual figures:

“Archangel Michael told me that my angels, Mother Mary and he, are always with me and that they would bestow upon me a miraculous healing to show me the power of this unlimited source that we can access at any time.”

Reflecting on the experience, she added:

“I had crossed over but I was not dead.”

“I felt like a completely different person.

“I knew my divine presence had been activated.

“I felt my body beginning to change and my asthma slowly improving.

“My purpose became clear: to help others awaken their divine presence, just as mine had been.”

Since the incident, Amber says her life has taken a new direction. She claims to have developed heightened spiritual awareness, including the ability to receive telepathic messages, which she has embraced in her work as a spiritual teacher under the name @‌malibumedium.

“Even though I had spiritual encounters growing up, crossing over and meeting God has greatly changed my viewpoint.
