Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has advised men to ensure they are financially stable before considering starting a family.

Speaking during a recent interview, Agu highlighted the rising cost of living in Nigeria, noting that everyday expenses have become increasingly difficult to manage.

He pointed out the high cost of baby essentials such as diapers, as well as school fees, fuel, and other basic commodities, stressing that raising a child now requires careful financial planning.

According to him, men who are not financially prepared should avoid getting a woman pregnant until they are in a better position to provide adequately.
