12 U.S. Troops Injured After Iranian Missile Att£ck on Saudi Airbase

At least 12 American troops have been injured following a missile and drone attack reportedly launched by Iran on a key military base in Saudi Arabia.

According to reports from New York Post and The Wall Street Journal, the strike occurred on March 27 and targeted the Prince Sultan Airbase.

The attack involved both missiles and drones, with at least one missile hitting the base directly. Several U.S. refueling aircraft were also damaged during the assault, although reports indicate that the affected vehicles were not occupied at the time.

This marks the second reported strike on the base amid the ongoing conflict, with earlier reports indicating that five refueling aircraft were damaged in a previous attack.

The Times described the incident as one of the most serious breaches of U.S. air defenses in the conflict so far.

The escalation is part of a broader confrontation between the U.S. and Iran, which intensified following joint U.S.-Israeli strikes in late February under what has been referred to as “Operation Epic Fury,” an effort aimed at weakening a hostile power and curbing its nuclear ambitions.
