A Chinese man has gone viral online after discovering a yam that closely resembles a human hand, leaving many people amazed.

The man, who lives in Jieyang in southern China, said he made the unusual discovery while harvesting crops on his farm.

Photos of the oddly shaped yam quickly spread across the internet, drawing widespread attention due to its striking resemblance to a human hand.

Reacting to the discovery, the man’s son-in-law revealed on March 17 that someone had offered to buy the yam for 8,000 yuan, but the family declined the offer.
