Mrs South Africa 2026 Winner Verushka Singh Resigns Months After Crowning

Popular Mrs South Africa 2026 winner, Verushka Singh, has stepped down from her title just months after her crowning.

It would be recalled that she was crowned at Emperors Palace on November 15, 2025, making history as the first Indian South African woman to win the prestigious title.

During the event, Carika Bebb was named first princess, while Talitha Oosthuizen emerged as second princess.

In a statement released on Thursday, March 26, 2026, she wrote:“Verushka has chosen to step down in order to focus on important personal priorities at this time and to prioritise her family.

“The organisation respects her decision and acknowledges the responsibility it takes to make choices that honour one’s wellbeing and personal journey,”

“I am grateful for the opportunity to have served on this platform and for the incredible women I’ve had the privilege of standing alongside,”
