The post has attracted attention after the woman revealed more details about what allegedly happened to her sister-in-law while she was in captivity.

Responding to a follower who asked what was done to the woman during the seven months, she claimed that her sister-in-law was chained by the leg throughout the period she was allegedly held captive.

Japan’s Oldest Person Dies at 115 After Revealing the Habits She Believed Helped Her Live Long

Japan’s oldest person, Shigeko Kagawa, has died at the age of 115 after a remarkable life that included decades of work as a doctor.

Kagawa died on August 27, 2026, having lived through more than a century of major changes in Japan and around the world.

Before her death, she had shared what she believed helped her maintain a long and active life, pointing to walking and keeping the brain active as important habits.

Born on May 28, 1911, Kagawa graduated from Osaka Women’s Medical College, now known as Kansai Medical University, in 1934.

She later opened her own medical practice in Yamatokoriyama and worked as an obstetrician and gynaecologist into her eighties.

During her medical career, she also devoted herself to treating patients suffering from cholera.

Kagawa married in 1947 and welcomed a daughter the following year. Her family later grew to include grandchildren and a granddaughter-in-law.

Her long life also saw her make history several times.

In April 2021, at the age of 109 years and 10 months, Kagawa became the oldest Olympic torchbearer ever when she participated in the torch relay for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Despite her advanced age, she remained active. Although her hearing became impaired, she was still able to hold conversations clearly. Her eyesight also remained good enough for her to watch television and read newspapers.

Her habit of walking was something she had maintained for much of her life. During her years as a doctor, Kagawa would walk several miles to visit patients in their homes after receiving calls at her clinic.

Kagawa became Japan’s oldest living person in July 2025 following the death of a 114-year-old woman from Nakatsu, Oita Prefecture.

Her life and longevity have left behind a remarkable story of medicine, family, activity and dedication to her profession.

A man identified as Levi Aondohemba Orhii has taken to social media to publicly address his second wife, Maris Mngohol Orhii, after she legally married another man in court.

Levi revealed that he traditionally married Maris in July 2014 and that their union was blessed with two daughters.

In a public notice shared on social media, he explained that his former second wife is now legally married to another man and announced the name she will be addressed by following the marriage.

Despite the development, Levi said he respects her decision and wishes her well in the new chapter of her life.

He also stated that they are working together amicably to ensure the welfare and proper care of their two children.

Levi wrote:

“PUBLIC NOTICE

The general public is hereby informed that my second wife, formerly addressed as Mrs. Maris Mngohol Orhii, whom I traditionally married in July 2014, is now legally married in court to another man.

She is to henceforth be addressed as Mrs. Maris Mngohoh Ibrahim Musa Ali.

Our union was blessed with two beautiful daughters.

I respect her decision and I wish her well in this new chapter of her life.

An Osgood man has broken one of his legs while trying to escape from a sports store he had entered to steal in Harrison, Ohio.

The man, identified as Caleb Hackman, reportedly climbed a downspout to reach the roof of Dunham’s Sports on Harrison Avenue on Saturday while the store was closed.

According to Local 12 News, Hackman then attempted to climb down a ladder after gaining access to the building.

However, an alarm reportedly went off while he was at the scene, prompting him to return to the roof.

He then attempted to escape by climbing down a downspout but fell and broke his leg.

Police arrested Hackman following the incident.

A judge set his bond at $10,000 on Monday and ordered him to stay away from the store while the case proceeds.

A 45-year-old former New Jersey special education teacher and mother of two has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for sexually abusing a 15-year-old student.

The woman, identified as Allison Havemann-Niedrach, broke down in tears in court as the teenager delivered an emotional statement before she was sentenced.

During the hearing, the victim revealed that the first two months of the relationship eventually became a nightmare for him, explaining that he spent years believing that what happened was his fault.

“For two or three years, I thought it was my fault,” he said during the court hearing.

Despite the trauma he experienced, the teenager told the court that he had forgiven Havemann-Niedrach for her actions, a statement that reportedly caused the former teacher to burst into tears.

Havemann-Niedrach pleaded guilty in January to sexually assaulting the teenager over a six-month period in 2024, when he was in eighth grade.

Prosecutors said she became “obsessed” with the teenager and sent him approximately 25,000 messages during the period.

The investigation began after concerns were raised about the relationship between the teacher and student. Prosecutors said another teacher reportedly witnessed inappropriate physical contact and flirting between them.

The teenager’s mother also became suspicious after noticing changes in her son’s behaviour.

During sentencing, State Superior Court Judge Jill G. O’Malley condemned Havemann-Niedrach’s conduct, telling her: “You are his trauma. You ruined him.”

The court also heard that the abuse had a severe impact on the teenager, who at one point considered taking his own life before eventually telling his mother about the relationship.

Under her plea agreement, Havemann-Niedrach must serve at least 85% of her 12-year sentence. She will also be required to register as a sex offender, while her teaching certifications have been revoked.

The death toll from the devastating floods in Nepal has reportedly risen to 900, while around 4,700 people remain missing following the disaster.

Rescue teams have been working around the clock near the Nepal-Tibet border, searching through muddy and debris-filled areas for people who remain unaccounted for after last week’s deadly floods.

According to Nepal’s disaster agency, a large number of people are still missing as emergency workers continue search and rescue operations in areas affected by the disaster.

The agency also revealed that 592 of those reported missing are foreigners, including 85 Americans.

However, at least nine Americans have reportedly been safely evacuated from Nepal since the disaster occurred.

Rescue workers continue to search affected communities as authorities work to establish the full scale of the destruction and locate those still missing.

The woman, identified as Leila Abolhasani, was among thousands of people arrested during the protests. She was charged with Moharebeh, a term under Iranian law that refers to “waging war against God” or “enmity against God.”

Abolhasani was arrested on January 8 in the Iranian satellite city of Shahin Shahr after taking photos of a fire at an Ofogh Koorosh grocery store.

Iranian authorities accused her of being involved in setting the store on fire, an offence that can carry the death penalty under the country’s legal system.

However, Abolhasani’s family has strongly disputed the accusation, insisting that she did not participate in starting the fire and had only filmed what was happening at the scene.

Details about the evidence allegedly linking her to the fire, the conduct of her trial and the nature of her legal defence have not been made public.

Following her arrest, Abolhasani was held at Dowlatabad Prison in Isfahan.

In late May, she was sentenced to death by Vahid Hemmatnejad, the presiding judge of Branch 5 of the Isfahan Revolutionary Court. The court ordered that she be executed by hanging.

Abolhasani appealed the verdict, and her case was subsequently transferred to Iran’s Supreme Court for review. According to IranWire, the Supreme Court is examining her appeal.

The case has drawn further attention because Abolhasani’s family maintains that her involvement was limited to documenting the fire.

An Iranian refugee who spoke to NewsNation described the planned execution as another warning to people who oppose the country’s leadership.

“She (Abolhasani) was arrested for documenting what was happening and was sentenced to death,” the refugee told the outlet.

“Her work could have been very effective in showing the world how brutal and savage the regime is, and they do not want the world to see the truth.

The refugee asserted that the regime wants to “create fear among the people so that anyone who might consider revealing the truth will be too afraid to do so.”

“They want people to remain silent and to keep the truth hidden forever.”

“That is why they are trying to execute her. They want her case to serve as a lesson to anyone who tries to speak the truth about the regime,” the refugee added.

A 36-year-old mother, Madeline Veronique Daly, has pleaded guilty to killing her 11 month old son after taking him across state lines in violation of a court order that had granted emergency custody to his father. Get the latest updates on our WhatsApp channel.

Daly admitted to killing her son, Basil Stoner, inside an RV in rural New Mexico after authorities tracked her down following the child’s disappearance.

The case began after Daly took Basil from Wyoming to New Mexico despite a court order giving emergency custody of the child to his father. The father had reportedly last seen his son on September 28.

According to an arrest affidavit, authorities eventually located Daly at an RV park near Silver City on December 23 after she had applied for a job in the area. A warrant reportedly appeared during a background check connected to the application.

When law enforcement officers spotted Daly entering an RV, they surrounded the vehicle and waited for a warrant to enter.

Officers then heard a gunshot coming from inside the RV. When they entered, they found that Daly had shot Basil in the face with a 9mm handgun.

Authorities said Daly also attempted to take her own life but was stopped and taken into custody.

During questioning, Daly reportedly told investigators that she had taken her son because she did not want him travelling between Nebraska and Wyoming twice a month.

According to the affidavit, Daly said:

“she was not going to allow her then 8-month-old baby go back and forth from Nebraska to Wyoming twice a month,”

When officers asked what went through her mind after she saw law enforcement approaching the RV, she reportedly responded:

“Jake can’t get Basil,”

Daly also made claims that Basil “would have been in danger and molested” if she left the trailer with him. She further claimed that his father “never wanted anything to do with” the boy “financially, physically, emotionally ever.”

Investigators said Daly told them she believed killing her son was worth it because she feared that being with his father would prevent her from seeing him.

The tragic case came after Daly had taken Basil across state lines despite the custody order. Authorities later tracked her down after the warrant appeared during her employment application.

Daly pleaded guilty to first-degree murder on Wednesday and is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Italian archaeologists excavating beneath Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre have uncovered an ancient funerary landscape that closely matches descriptions of the area where Christians believe Jesus Christ was buried. Get the latest updates on our WhatsApp channel.

The excavation was carried out at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a fourth-century church built over a site traditionally identified by Christians as the place where Jesus was crucified, buried and later resurrected.

The research team, led by Francesca Romana Stasolla of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, had been working beneath the church as part of restoration work that began several years ago.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Stasolla said:

“We have found evidence of a funerary landscape”

During the final stages of the excavation in 2025, researchers uncovered an abandoned quarry, cultivated areas, an ancient garden and several rock-cut tombs beneath the church.

The discovery is particularly interesting because it bears similarities to the biblical account of Jesus’ burial.

The Book of John describes the location by saying:

“At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid.”

Researchers noted that the location also fits other descriptions in the Bible. John 19:20 places the crucifixion near Jerusalem, while Hebrews 13:12 describes it as taking place outside the city gate.

The rock-cut graves discovered during the excavation also resemble the type of burial described in the accounts of Matthew, Mark and Luke.

The archaeological evidence also revealed that one particular chamber had been blocked by a Roman structure constructed during the reign of Emperor Hadrian in the second century.

Around two centuries later, workers associated with Emperor Constantine’s construction project removed the Roman structure and exposed the burial area. The chamber was then separated from the surrounding tombs.

Although archaeologists have not discovered human remains that can be identified as Jesus, researchers believe the way the site was preserved could indicate that early Christian communities already regarded the location as sacred.

Stasolla explained that the importance of the discovery goes beyond proving whether Jesus was buried at the site.

“The real treasure we are revealing is the history of the people who made this site what it is by expressing their faith here,” she told the Times.

“Whether someone believes or not in the historicity of the Holy Sepulchre, the fact that generations of people did is objective. The history of this place is the history of Jerusalem, and at least from a certain moment, it is the history of the worship of Jesus Christ.”

A lady has taken to social media to express her pain and sense of betrayal after discovering that her father had married another woman while he was still legally married to her mother.

Sharing her story online, the lady explained that her father used to be her favourite person. However, she said her feelings towards him changed after finding out about his second marriage.
