Nigerian Bodybuilder Andrew Jacked Wins 2026 Arnold Classic, Takes Home $760,000
Nigerian bodybuilding star Chinedu Andrew Obiekea, popularly known as Andrew Jacked, has won the 2026 edition of the prestigious Arnold Classic.
The 38th edition of the event took place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, where top bodybuilders from around the world competed for the title.
Andrew Jacked secured the championship prize of $750,000 and also received an additional $10,000 after being named Best Poser, bringing his total earnings for the night to $760,000.
The competition’s founder and legendary bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger was present throughout the event. He was seen filming the final rounds from the sidelines before later handing the microphone to Andrew Jacked during the trophy presentation.
Andrew Jacked’s victory came after an intense contest against top competitors, including former Mr. Olympia champion Hadi Choopan and fan favourite Nick Walker.
With the win, Andrew Jacked becomes the second Nigerian to capture the Arnold Classic title after Samson Dauda. He also becomes the third African overall to win the prestigious competition.
Born in Kaduna, Andrew Jacked initially trained as an electrical engineer and also served as a military officer before transitioning into professional bodybuilding in 2021.
His rise in the sport has been remarkably fast. After becoming an amateur champion in 2022, he quickly climbed the ranks to join the world’s elite bodybuilders, securing one of bodybuilding’s “Triple Crown” titles within just four years.
