Students Escape D£ath As School Building Collapses In Lagos

Students and teachers narrowly escaped d£ath after a school building suddenly collapsed in the Ogba area of Lagos State.

The incident reportedly happened at Yemco Nursery and Primary School located at 11 Adudatu Street, behind County Hospital in the Aguda axis of Ogba.

According to eyewitnesses, the building collapsed just minutes after students and teachers hurriedly evacuated the structure.

It was gathered that people inside the school noticed signs of danger and quickly rushed downstairs before the building eventually came crashing down.

“At first, the house started cracking little by little. The window frames had already fallen apart. After some minutes, the cement body of the house began peeling off. Not long after that, the building just sank,” Ridwan who was an eyewitness there said

In a viral video circulating online, a plank was seen falling from the roof moments before the entire structure collapsed, prompting panic among those at the scene.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported as everyone had already evacuated the building before it fell.
