63-Year-Old Woman Welcomes Baby Girl After Losing Son to Cancer

A 63-year-old woman has welcomed a baby girl after the heartbreaking loss of her only son to cancer.

The news was confirmed by hospital officials on March 4, who revealed that the pensioner, whose identity has not been made public, successfully delivered the child.

According to reports, the woman’s son died last year at the age of 35 after battling a tumour. Following his death, she made the difficult decision to try for another child despite the significant risks associated with pregnancy at her age.

The woman reportedly explained that if her late son had been married and already had children, she would not have considered having another baby.

She said many people advised her against the pregnancy due to her age, but she chose to follow what she believed in.

“I just felt that my child was meant to come back,” she said.

When asked whether she hoped for a boy or a girl, the woman said she had no preference.

“Whatever heaven gives me is fine,” she added.

She also shared that her parents are currently in their 90s, which gives her hope that she may live long enough to watch her daughter grow up.

In a video shared online, the woman could be seen in the hospital surrounded by doctors and family members who cheered her on shortly before the birth of the baby girl.
