Justice Department Withholds Epstein Files Referencing Donald Trump, Records Show
The United States Department of Justice has withheld portions of the Epstein files that reference Donald Trump, according to reporting based on a review of federal records.
Documents reviewed indicate that certain materials catalogued within the Epstein files database were not made publicly available, despite a court order directing the full release of records. Among the withheld materials are more than 50 pages of FBI interview records and notes connected to allegations made decades ago by a woman who accused Trump of s£xual abuse while she was a minor. Trump has not been charged in connection with these claims.
Records show that while millions of pages have been released in recent months, documents referencing Trump appear in only a limited number of internal FBI summaries and Justice Department presentation materials. These include internal FBI lists of allegations circulated in mid-2025, many of which agents marked as unverifiable or not credible.
One allegation involving Trump was forwarded internally for follow-up, leading to multiple interviews with the accuser.
FBI logs and discovery records from the criminal case against Ghislaine Maxwell indicate that the woman who accused Trump was interviewed four times by federal investigators. However, only one of those interviews is currently available in the public Epstein files database, and that interview does not mention Trump. Additional interview notes and records appear to be missing from public release.
A comparison of serial numbers across FBI case files, discovery logs, and Justice Department records suggests that approximately 53 pages related to these interviews exist but have not been published. The discrepancy was first highlighted by independent investigative reporting and later confirmed through document analysis.
When asked about the missing materials, the Justice Department declined to provide specific answers regarding their contents or why they were not released. A spokesperson later reiterated the department’s position that any documents not published are being withheld because they are privileged, duplicative, or related to an ongoing federal investigation.
Other documents removed or withheld involve a separate woman who served as a key prosecution witness in Maxwell’s trial. Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, is currently seeking clemency from Trump. Some related files were briefly removed and later restored, while others remain unavailable.
In response to questions about the missing documents and allegations, the White House said Trump “has done more for Epstein’s victims than anyone before him.”
In a statement by White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson, it reads: “Just as President Trump has said, he’s been totally exonerated on anything relating to Epstein,”
“And by releasing thousands of pages of documents, cooperating with the House Oversight Committee’s subpoena request, signing the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and calling for more investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends, President Trump has done more for Epstein’s victims than anyone before him. Meanwhile, Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries and Stacey Plaskett have yet to explain why they were soliciting money and meetings from Epstein after he was a convicted sex offender.”
The Justice Department has previously stated that the Epstein files include “untrue and sensationalist claims” involving public figures. In a February 14 letter to Congress, Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche asserted that no documents were withheld or redacted “on the basis of embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity, including to any government official, public figure, or foreign dignitary.”
As lawmakers continue reviewing unredacted materials, members of both political parties have criticized the handling of the Epstein files’ release, accusing the Justice Department of lacking transparency and potentially violating federal disclosure requirements.

26-Year-Old Kenyan Woman Arrested After Hiding Drugs Inside Bread She Took to Her Boyfriend in Police Custody

The incident occurred at Buruburu Police Station, where Bernice Achieng’ had reportedly gone to visit her boyfriend. According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the woman arrived at the station carrying an unsealed loaf of bread and asked officers to deliver it to the detainee.
The unusual state of the bread reportedly raised concerns among officers, prompting them to inspect the package before it could be handed over.
Their search uncovered five rolls of bhang and a matchbox concealed inside the loaf.
The DCI said a total of 12 rolls were recovered during the operation.
“A visit to a detained boyfriend instead landed a 26-year-old woman in police custody, after officers manning Buruburu Police Station’s report office desk discovered bhang hidden inside a loaf of bread,” the statement read.
“Bernice Achieng had come to see her boyfriend, currently held in police custody, and asked officers to pass him the loaf.
“But the unsealed package raised suspicion and upon search, five rolls of bhang and a matchbox were discovered buried deep in the loaf of bread.
“The find prompted a further search, turning up a further seven rolls of bhang stuffed in the pocket of her jacket, making it twelve rolls in total recovered.
“Achieng, is now in custody with the exhibits secured and is expected to be arraigned.”
The DCI disclosed the arrest in a statement issued on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Achieng remains in custody as police secure the recovered items ahead of her expected arraignment.
The incident happened on Friday, September 18, 2026, in an open field near South Old State Road, north of East Robbins Road, in Ellendale, Sussex County.

The victim was identified as 39-year-old Santos Maria Chilel Soto of Georgetown, Delaware. Responding troopers provided emergency medical care before she was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police identified the hunter as Walter Moorhead of Salisbury, Maryland. According to the preliminary investigation, Soto was walking through the field with a man and two children while Moorhead was hunting deer from a ground blind.
Police said Moorhead believed he had seen a deer and fired his rifle, striking Soto.
Moorhead was taken into custody at the scene before being charged with felony manslaughter, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment.
He was arraigned and later released after posting a $43,000 cash bond. The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the incident.
Soto was reportedly a mother of five and originally from Guatemala. Following her death, her family launched a fundraiser to help cover funeral expenses and the cost of transporting her body to Guatemala for burial.
The family said the unexpected death had left them facing significant financial pressure while grieving her loss.
The fundraiser stated:
“Maria’s family is now facing the overwhelming pain of this sudden loss while also trying to make sure she is laid to rest with dignity.
“They need help covering funeral services and the cost of sending Maria’s body to Guatemala so she can be brought home.
“This heartbreaking situation has placed a heavy financial burden on the family at a time when they are grieving deeply.
“The funds raised will help cover expenses that exceed £15,000 for funeral and transportation costs.
“If possible, support may also help the five children Maria left behind as they face life without their mother.

The incident reportedly occurred around 7pm on Friday, September 18, 2026, in the Katsalle area of Rogo town.
According to Daily Trust, a resident identified as Auwal Kazagi Rogo said residents rushed to the area after hearing cries from Bilkisu, who reportedly claimed that her husband had been kidnapped and killed.
Kazagi said residents who arrived at the scene found Gausu with an injury to his head.
He said:
Police were subsequently contacted and the man’s body was taken away as investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death began.
According to the resident, Gausu had reportedly become involved with another woman and was planning to marry her as his second wife.
His reported plans had led to disagreements between him and Bilkisu, with elders previously intervening in an attempt to settle the matter.
Kazagi said tensions between the couple continued despite the intervention.
Bilkisu was subsequently arrested by the police as a suspect in connection with her husband’s death, while investigations remain ongoing.
Gausu was buried on Saturday morning in Rogo according to Islamic rites.
The couple had reportedly been married for nearly seven years and had two children. Bilkisu is also said to be pregnant with the deceased man’s child.
Sources in the area further claimed that Gausu had asked his fiancée’s family to move the planned wedding date forward by two months because of the disagreement with his wife.

Despite his symptoms, the man’s vital signs were stable, and he showed no other obvious signs of distress.
However, an imaging test revealed something unusual near his heart. Doctors subsequently ordered a contrast-enhanced CT scan to get a clearer view of the suspected object.
The scan revealed multiple “needle-like metallic foreign bodies” lodged in different parts of his body.
One of the most concerning findings was a 1.4-inch metallic pin that had pierced the pericardium, the fluid-filled sac surrounding the heart.
However, doctors discovered that the man had previously undergone treatment at another hospital two years earlier, where two foreign objects had been removed from his abdomen.
The history led doctors to suspect a condition known as self-embedding, a form of non-suicidal self-injury in which a person deliberately inserts foreign objects into the body.
The case presented a major challenge because removing the objects could potentially cause further damage, particularly those located close to vital organs.
Doctors therefore decided to first remove the object they considered the greatest immediate threat.
Surgeons successfully removed an intact black metallic sewing needle from the man’s pericardium. The needle was found to be corroded, suggesting that it had remained inside his body for an extended period.
Doctors did not find any obvious wound or scar on his chest that could explain how the needle had entered the area around his heart.
Following the operation, the man’s heart function temporarily deteriorated as a result of the existing injury and the strain of surgery.
He was discharged from the hospital nine days after the procedure.
At a nine-month follow-up appointment, the patient remained clinically stable, and his heart function had recovered.
Doctors decided not to immediately remove the other needles found throughout his body because doing so could create additional complications. Instead, they opted to monitor the remaining foreign objects closely.

Europe’s oldest man, Vitantonio Lovallo, has died at the age of 112.
It was shared that Lovallo passed away on September 15 in Avigliano, Italy.

Lovallo was born on March 28, 1914, and began working as a shepherd when he was just 16 years old.
As he grew older, he met his future wife in the village where she had been sent to recover from pleurisy. The couple got married in 1936 and went on to have four children: Lucia, born in 1938; Vincenzo, born in 1940; Maria, born in 1946; and another son, born in 1952.
Lovallo experienced the loss of one of his children when his son Vincenzo died after suffering from meningitis just months after being born. His wife also passed away from leukaemia in 2015 at the age of 98.
During World War II, Lovallo was sent to the front and was captured by German troops in Greece in 1943.
During his captivity, Lovallo was forced to perform hard labour, including work on the construction of a railway.
After returning home following the war, he worked as a muleteer and continued working on the land for several decades.
Following the death of Michele Cicora on March 31, 2024, Lovallo became Italy’s oldest living man. He also became the first male from the Basilicata region to reach the age of 110.
After Romania’s Ilie Ciocan died on May 27, 2026, Lovallo became Europe’s oldest living man.
He died on September 15, 2026, at the age of 112, bringing to an end the life of a man who had lived through two World Wars, witnessed generations of change and survived years of hardship during wartime.

South African Woman Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison for Smuggling 5.75kg of Heroin Into Nigeria

Ann was sentenced on Thursday, September 17, after she pleaded guilty to unlawfully importing the illicit drug into the country through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
While delivering the judgment, Justice Egwuatu emphasized that Nigerian law does not take emotions into consideration when dealing with criminal offences.
According to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ann was arrested in July while travelling with her three-year-old son.
She was arrested during the inward clearance of passengers on Qatar Airways Flight QR1433, which arrived in Abuja from Doha.
The NDLEA had previously revealed that Ann was arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja in August, where she pleaded guilty to importing 5.75 kilogrammes of heroin into Nigeria on July 6.
During Thursday’s proceedings, Justice Egwuatu noted that Ann had admitted to committing the offence in her extrajudicial statement even before entering her guilty plea.
The judge explained that the law provides that a conviction follows a guilty plea and subsequently convicted Ann of the offence.
Following her conviction, the prosecution asked the court to consider the value of heroin when determining her sentence, stating that one kilogramme of the drug is worth about N18 million.
Ann, however, pleaded with the court for mercy and promised that she would never engage in such an act again.
The convict also told the court that she was remorseful and claimed that she did not know there were illicit drugs inside the bag.
After listening to both sides and considering her plea for leniency, Justice Egwuatu said, “Crime does not pay”, while emphasizing that the law is not influenced by “emotions”.
The judge sentenced Ann to 15 years’ imprisonment on Count 1 and 25 years’ imprisonment on Count 2.
However, the court ordered that both sentences should run concurrently.
Justice Egwuatu further ordered that if Ann does not appeal the judgment within the period allowed by law, the seized heroin should be destroyed.
