Man Caught on CCTV Putting Armp£t Hair in Restaurant Food to Get Free Meal

A man has been exposed after CCTV footage caught him plucking his armpit hair and placing it inside his food at a top-rated restaurant in an attempt to get a free meal.

After carrying out the act, the customer demanded a refund, claiming he had found hair in his food. However, his plan failed when the restaurant reviewed its CCTV footage, which clearly showed what really happened.

According to the manager of Pony Dining, who spoke to news.com.au, the family had enjoyed an expensive dinner, with their bill reaching $600 (£312). They later ordered more high-end meals, including premium steaks such as a tomahawk, which can cost over $140 (£72).

He said:

“We served them a wonderful dinner.

“Everything was very clean, they had a beautiful table. We decided to check the CCTV after we noticed they were acting very weird.”

The restaurant confirmed that the incident was reported to the police, but they were told that no further action would be taken.

Sharing the footage on Instagram, the restaurant said the decision was made to warn others in the hospitality industry.

They wrote:

“We want other restaurants to be aware about these kinds of customers.”

“We don’t usually share content like this. This footage shows an incident that occurred in our venue.

“After the meal was served, the guest later raised a complaint regarding a hair in their meal and declined payment for all the food. During the interaction, our team also experienced inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour.

“The matter has been formally reported. This video is shared to raise awareness for fellow hospitality venues.”
