Indian Man Arrested for M#rdering His Wife After Hitman Demanded More Money

A Bengaluru-based tech professional identified as Balamuragan has been arrested by police in connection with the alleged m#rder of his wife.

Investigations revealed that the suspect had initially tried to hire a contract killer from Salem, Tamil Nadu, to carry out the crime. He reportedly paid an advance of Rs 1.5 lakh to the hitman, who was already facing multiple criminal charges including murder and burglary.

Police later arrested a suspect named Moulesh Kumar for his alleged involvement in the case. However, further investigation showed that Kumar did not physically commit the crime. Instead, he allegedly traveled to Bengaluru, conducted reconnaissance of the area, and advised Balamuragan on locations without CCTV surveillance where the act could be carried out.

According to police sources, Balamuragan came in contact with Kumar while searching for criminal contacts on social media. Kumar initially demanded Rs 1.5 lakh, claiming he would carry out the sh*oting. He later asked for more money, which reportedly led to a disagreement.

Due to the dispute over payment, Balamuragan is alleged to have carried out the m#rder himself.

Kumar reportedly has a criminal history involving theft and had previously been lodged at Salem Prison. He was later brought to Bengaluru under a body warrant for further questioning by city police.
