I Was Taking Care of His Wife’s Father, Not His — Woman Shares Experience With Abroad-Based Man, Urges Women to Find Love Where They Are
A Nigerian woman has advised people to seek love wherever they are after sharing a painful experience involving an abroad-based man who deceived her.
Taking to X, she narrated how she was in a relationship with a man living overseas and went as far as helping him care for his sick father. According to her, she later discovered that the man she was nursing was not his father, but his wife’s father.
She explained that the man had travelled to Nigeria, claiming no one was available to assist with his father’s care. Out of love and concern, she stepped in to help, unaware she was being misled.
Her world, however, came crashing down when she eventually found out that the man was married and had lied about both his identity and his family situation.
She wrote: “I carried filth, washed filth, cleaned endlessly, and cooked with my own money for a man I was told was his sick father. I was not desperate. I was simply trying to be a good woman to the man I wanted, to the man I truly believed I would marry.
“For seven long months, I gave my time, my strength, my weekends, and my heart. I volunteered myself. Every weekend, I traveled down to care for a “father” he claimed no one else was willing to help. I did it out of love, not obligation. I did it with sincerity.
“Then the truth shattered everything.
“He was married. And the man I had been caring for was not his father! it was his wife’s father. While I was sacrificing, he was lying. While I was giving, he was deceiving. He told his wife I was just a maid, that he paid me, while knowing very well that I spent my own money and poured out my heart freely.
“That level of wickedness is hard to comprehend. It is cruel beyond words. People who can deceive so deeply do not deserve mercy, and they do not deserve genuine love.
“The marriage he hid from me, the life he lied about, is now scattered. And I have many stories like this, because I was foolish also to believe in love without questioning lies. Men will swear they are single, only for you to later discover the truth one way or another. Either they are in a relationship, or they are married, or they are living a double life.
“Such people are not good. They are cruel.
“Not just the UK, but abroad in general. Ninety percent of them are not who they present themselves to be. What they show you is a carefully crafted lie, and what they hide is the truth that will break you.
“Find your love around you! They are fake!”

Woman Left Surprised After Her Missing Cat Returns Home Covered in Blue Dye
According to Sophie, she had been searching for her beloved pet and feared that something terrible might have happened after the cat failed to return home.
However, to her surprise, the feline eventually came back looking bright blue.

The remarkable discovery was made during a trip to northern France after the team noticed a small patch of concrete protruding from scrubland.
Inside, they found original drawings and markings still etched into the walls by the soldiers who had been stationed there more than 80 years ago.
Speaking about the discovery, Stuart, a member of Forgotten and Forbidden Explorers, said:
“We were about to call it a day in France when my colleague noticed a tiny bit of concrete in the scrub.
“What revealed itself inside blew our minds.
“The bunker is in northern France on an old German airfield from 1940.
“A database gave us an idea of where to look but then it was up to us to go and see.
“The item in question could have been demolished so it’s all luck of the draw.
“But it’s all part of the research.”
Stuart added that the bunker is located on private land and believes the landowner is likely aware of its existence.
“It’s on private land so I’d expect the farmer knows it’s there.”
The discovery has fascinated history enthusiasts online, offering a rare glimpse into a wartime structure that has remained hidden for decades.

Couples Arrested After Climbing Empire State Building Antenna for Marriage Proposal
The pair, who were dressed in black, were seen scaling the building’s antenna without safety harnesses before standing on a narrow ledge near the summit, approximately 443 metres (1,454 feet) above Manhattan.

The daring stunt drew the attention of authorities, and shortly after the climbers descended from the antenna at around 1 p.m., officers moved in and arrested them.
