The Mask Actor Peter Greene Found Dead in His New York Apartment

Peter Greene, the American actor widely known for portraying villainous and crime-related roles, has been found dead at his apartment in New York.

His manager, Gregg Edwards, confirmed the tragic news to the New York Post.

According to police, Greene’s body was discovered unresponsive inside his residence at approximately 3:25 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A neighbor living close to the actor revealed that Greene was found lying face down on the floor. Recounting the discovery, the neighbor told the New York Daily News:
“Peter was lying on the floor, facedown, facial injury, blood everywhere…”

Reports also indicate that investigators found a handwritten note at the apartment. The note reportedly read “I’m still a Westie,” a phrase believed to reference the Irish-American gang that operated in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen area during the 1970s.

As of now, authorities have not officially announced the cause of Peter Greene’s death, and investigations are still ongoing.
