Emir of Kano Announces Wedding of His Daughter, Aisha Lamido Sanusi

The Emir of Kano, HRH Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi II, has officially announced that his daughter, Aisha Lamido Sanusi, is set to get married.

Aisha, who graduated with a First-Class degree from the University of Swansea in the UK in 2023, will be tying the knot with Flying Officer Dr. Sayyed Ahmed Usman.
The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Emir’s Palace in Kofar Kudu, Kano.
