Federal High Court Sentences IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu to Life Imprisonment
Justice James Omotoso of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has sentenced Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to life imprisonment after finding him guilty of terrorism.
According to court proceedings, Kanu received a life sentence on Counts 4, 5, and 6 of the seven-count charge filed against him by the Federal Government. Additionally, the court handed him a 20-year prison term for Count 3.
