Surfing Influencer Kim Flint Dies at 33 After Battle With Cancer

Surfing influencer Kim Flint has tragically passed away at the age of 33 after battling adrenal cortical carcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that affects the outer layer of the adrenal glands.

Before her death, Kim courageously shared her health journey with her followers, revealing that she had started chemotherapy and remained hopeful throughout the process.

A year later, she joyfully announced that she was cancer-free, writing:

“No new cancer cells found.”

Unfortunately, her health took a devastating turn when the cancer returned — spreading to her lungs, spine, and diaphragm.

“I’m not afraid of death. I don’t even believe that I’m going to die.” She said

She celebrated her 33rd birthday on October 21st while in a hospital in Heidelberg, Germany.

Two days later, she shared a post, writing: “Hope. A lifeline. A light on the horizon. We’ve found a new, very promising therapy for me… Fingers crossed.”

Her husband, Jan Henrik, never left her side throughout her illness. He proposed in October 2024, and the couple joyfully married the following June.
