22-Year-Old Lady Kidnapped While Boarding a Tricycle on Her Way Home from Work in Delta State
A 22-year-old lady identified as Uche Chukwurah has reportedly been kidnapped while boarding a tricycle on her way home from work in Asaba, Delta State.
The sad incident occurred on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, around Ibusa Junction.
According to Human Rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who shared the news on Instagram, Uche was abducted shortly after boarding the tricycle, and her kidnappers contacted her family later that night to demand ransom.
He wrote: “22-year-old Uche Chukwurah closed from work on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, and boarded a keke around Ibusa Junction, Asaba, but she never made it home.
That same night, her abductors contacted the family, demanding a ransom. Uche is still being held captive, as her father cannot afford the amount they are asking for.
At this point, one can only wonder — how careful can anyone truly be to avoid falling into the hands of these criminals?.”
