Gay Nigerian Man Dies After Being Pushed From Two-Storey Building

A tragic incident has claimed the life of a young gay Nigerian man identified as Hilary, who reportedly died after being pushed from a two-storey building by a group of homophobic men in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The heartbreaking news was announced by Pastor Jide Macaulay, a well-known gay rights advocate and founder of the House of Rainbow Church, who shared the details on social media.

According to Pastor Jide, Hilary was lured into the building under false pretenses before being attacked and pushed off. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Macaulay condemned the brutal act, describing it as a hate-driven killing and a reminder of the dangers faced by members of the LGBTQ+ community in Nigeria.
