A woman has taken to TikTok to share her shocking experience after being misdiagnosed with stage 4 cancer and subjected to chemotherapy treatments, only to later find out she never had cancer in the first place.

In the emotional video, the lady recounted how doctors informed her that she had stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a rare immune system cancer. Believing the diagnosis, she began chemotherapy immediately after her doctors assured her that, because of her age, she had a strong chance of survival.

“I started crying. Imagine being told you have cancer — my mom and everyone were crying. I had already given up,” she said tearfully in the video.

She explained that during one of her hospital visits, her consultant told her that if it was the type of cancer they suspected, it was very aggressive. She mentioned that her symptoms had only appeared less than a month before the diagnosis, around May, shortly after her birthday.

Despite her hesitation, the doctor insisted she begin chemotherapy, warning her that the treatment could affect her fertility and “seize her eggs.” Desperate and afraid, she agreed, stating she was never given any document to sign before starting the treatment.
