I Rather Die Without a Child If I’m Not Wealthy Enough- Man

A young Nigerian man has stirred conversations on social media after boldly declaring that he would rather not have children while poor than raise them in poverty.

In a video shared on TikTok, the man explained that it is a personal decision he intends to stick to, saying that having children without financial stability is unfair to both the parents and the kids.

According to him, he would “rather die childless than have children in poverty,” emphasizing that he wants to give his future kids a comfortable life filled with opportunities — something he believes can only come when he’s financially successful.

“…Personally, for me, if I am not wealthy, as in very wealthy to my taste, I am not giving birth…I would rather die without a child…” He said
