Transgender Woman Jailed for 21 Months After Hiding Gender Identity from Man She Met on Snapchat
A transgender woman, identified as Ciara Watkin, has been sentenced to 21 months in jail after being found guilty of hiding her gender identity from a man she went on a date with.
According to reports, Ciara met the 18-year-old victim on Snapchat, and the pair later spent a night together. During their intimate moment, she allegedly performed a s-xual act on him but refused to let him touch her.

It was later revealed that Ciara had not disclosed that she was transgender and still had male genitalia. The victim reportedly discovered the truth only after Ciara later admitted she had a “massive secret.”
Following investigations, Ciara Watkin was convicted on two counts of sexual assault and one count of assault by p*n*tration.
Sharing a complaint during, the victim said: “I am a heterosexual male and I wouldn’t even think of doing anything with a male.
“This has left me feeling ashamed and embarrassed, I have been ridiculed online due to Watkin’s deception.
“I have been so upset over this whole thing.”

During the Teesside Crown Court hearing, prosecutors revealed that Ciara had undergone partial gender-affirming procedures but had stuffed her chest area with padding inside a bra to appear more feminine.
The court also heard that while chatting with the victim, Ciara used a female cartoon avatar on Snapchat, and there was no discussion about gender throughout their conversations.
The victim told the court that the revelation left him feeling “violated, disgusted, and mentally scarred.”
He said: “All the way throughout she made out she was fully a girl.”
“Throughout the full time, she was telling me she was on her period.
“It was like as far as I was concerned she was a female.”
According to him, he later shared that Caira admitted hiding a “Massive secret” and then he thinked if she was pregnant not until she opened up that she was a trans.
The victim added: “I’m trans. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.”
The man messaged: “WTF. So you have a d***?”.
He added: “OMFG. I feel ill,” before reporting her to the police.
“I see it as something that upsets me. I’m just trying to hide my emotions. At first I did just have an emotional breakdown.”

Speaking to the sun, Ciara on her part said: “He must have known I’m not female. He knew all along I was trans and at first chose to ignore it.
“His mum knew and all his mates who met me knew, so how could he claim to be the only one who didn’t?
“I am not finished with this – I have a strong case that I have been unfairly prosecuted and I’m prepared to make a legal case for that.”
