Nigerian Lecturer Celebrates Her Mother and Best Friend After 65-Year Of Friendship

A Nigerian lecturer, Hadiza Kere, has touched hearts online after sharing photos of her mother and her mother’s best friend, who have remained inseparable for 65 years.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Hadiza revealed that her mother, Hajiya Amina Kere Ahmed (née Shuaibu), and her best friend, Hajiya Zainab Muktar Bello (née Bahago), first met as young girls in secondary school in Kwara State.

Accompanying the photos, Hadiza wrote: “My mum & her bestie have over 65 years & counting alhamdulillah. We the children consider ourselves cousins lol. They met at Queen Elizabeth School in Ilorin. Hajiya Amina Kere Ahmed Née Shuaibu and Hajiya Zainab Muktar Bello Née Bahago Ya Allah be pleased with our parents”
