Newborn Baby Rescued After Being Abandoned in a Bush

A shocking incident unfolded in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, after residents discovered a newborn baby abandoned in a bush and quickly came to the infant’s rescue.

The baby was found alive on September 10 near Hope Academy Primary School, in the popular A.A. Koto area of Akwanga.

According to reports, the child’s mother is believed to be a final-year NCE student at the College of Education, Akwanga. With the help of her friends and classmates, she was identified, arrested, and handed over to the police for further investigation.
