US Lawyer Mark Zuckerberg Calls Out Meta Boss After His Facebook Account Gets Disabled For Impersonation

A US bankruptcy lawyer named Mark Stephen Zuckerberg, who happens to share the same name as Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has raised alarm after Facebook repeatedly disabled his accounts, accusing him of impersonation.

The Indiana-based attorney revealed that despite spending over $11,000 on Facebook ads to promote his law practice, both his business and personal pages were removed. According to him, this has not only affected his legal career but also turned his life upside down.

Mark S. Zuckerberg explained that he even went as far as verifying his identity using government-issued IDs and official documents, yet his accounts were deactivated multiple times. He shared that he also operates a website under the name Mark S. Zuckerberg, where he discusses legal cases.

In his words, Facebook and Meta have prevented him from fully enjoying the rights to use his own legal name, despite years of back-and-forth communication with the platform.

In an email sent to Meta by Mark, it reads: “I don’t want to make waves or cause problems, I just want my account to be reactivated and [be] left to play on the social media in peace.”

Speaking to the WTHR, he added: “It’s not funny.

“Not when they take my money. This really pissed me off

“It’s like buying a billboard on the side of the highway, paying the people for the billboard and then they come and put a giant blanket over it and you don’t get the benefit of what you paid for,”

However, in a fresh update, a Meta spokesperson told Sky News that the company had reinstated his account “after finding it had been disabled in error.”

“We appreciate Mr. Zuckerberg’s continued patience on this issue and are working to try and prevent this from happening in the future.”

The case has been lodged in Indiana’s Marion Superior Court.
