Pregnant South African Woman Arrested After Attempting to Stab Boyfriend

A 25-year-old South African woman has been arrested after attempting to stab her boyfriend during a heated confrontation in Canelands, KwaZulu-Natal.

The incident occurred at around 11:58 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, after members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a distress call about a woman assaulting a man on Old Main Road.

According to reports, the woman had gone to her boyfriend’s workplace, where she accused him of cheating. The argument escalated, and she allegedly pulled out a kitchen knife in an attempt to stab him.

The boyfriend defended himself, and in the process, the woman sustained injuries to her face. She later disclosed that she is pregnant with his child and had become frustrated after discovering his alleged infidelity.

Both parties reportedly declined further medical or legal assistance and expressed a desire to resolve the matter privately.
