Four Nigerian Soldiers Injured in Vehicle Accident in Taraba State

Four Nigerian soldiers were reportedly injured in a vehicle accident in Taraba State on Thursday, August 28, 2025, while traveling across the region’s mountainous terrain.

According to reports, the Emir of Mambilla, Dr. Shehu Audu Baju, personally joined in the rescue efforts to ensure the soldiers received immediate assistance. His quick intervention helped coordinate the evacuation of the injured personnel.

The affected soldiers were swiftly transported to the 20 Battalion Barracks in Serti, where they are currently receiving urgent medical treatment.

Local residents, community leaders, and traditional rulers have expressed their sympathy, offering prayers for the soldiers’ speedy recovery. They also appealed for the continued safety of security operatives serving in the region.
