An Ugandan woman has taken to social media to seek help after claiming that her Nigerian boyfriend abandoned her when she became pregnant.
In an interview with a TikToker Odogwukiwi, the woman revealed that her lover, identified as Richard from Imo State, cut off all contact with her the moment she told him she was expecting a child.
According to her, Richard blocked her on all platforms and allegedly dismissed her with the words: “Ugandan women are funny.”
She explained that she later went to the place where he used to live, only to be told that he had moved out. To date, she says she has no idea whether he is still in Uganda or has returned to Nigeria.
The woman further claimed that Richard denied responsibility for the pregnancy, but she insists her child is 100% his. In a symbolic gesture, she named her daughter Chioma, inspired by Nigerian singer Davido’s wife, whom she often hears about.
