Wanted Criminal Caught Hiding in Hot Tub After Police Dog Sniffs Him Out

A wanted criminal has been arrested in Cumbria after police discovered him hiding under a hot tub — thanks to the sharp instincts of a police dog.

According to reports, the suspect had been on the run for dangerous and disqualified driving. In an attempt to escape capture, he crawled beneath a hot tub, leaving behind his clothes and a pair of white sneakers nearby.

Police dog Luna picked up his scent and quickly led officers to the unusual hiding spot. When the hot tub was opened, officers found the suspect concealed inside and immediately called for backup before placing him in handcuffs.Speaking on the incident, a spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: “PD Luna successfully found a man who was hiding in a hot tub.

“The man was arrested and went on to be convicted of offences including dangerous driving and disqualified driving.”
