He Hissed Like a Snake– Rapper Tulisa Recounts Bizarre Encounter with Stranger After Argument with Ex-Boyfriend
Rapper and songwriter Tulisa Contostavlos has opened up about a disturbing late-night encounter with a stranger, which she details in her new book Judgement: Love, Trials, and Tribulations.
Tulisa explained that the incident occurred after a heated argument with her ex-boyfriend, Jacob. She left her taxi midway and decided to walk through a dimly lit park in search of a shortcut. While making her way through, she heard the sound of a twig snapping, followed by movement in the bushes.

The shadowy figure soon emerged, revealing a man lurking among the trees.
According to The Mirror, Tulisa recalled the chilling moment, describing the stranger as “Hissing like a snake” during the unsettling encounter.
She said: “He was slightly crouched with his arms out and hands spread by his side, like an animal ready to pounce,”
“He looked middle-aged with tanned skin, dark eyes and a shaven head, but the thing that stood out the most was his smile. He was grinning at me evilly, showing his teeth. He stayed crouched and still, watching me with his evil eyes glistening through the shadows. I was frozen in shock and fear, when all of a sudden he made a loud sound. ‘Hssssssssssss,’ he hissed like a snake.”
She recalled that during the incident, she began trembling, and her survival instincts immediately kicked in. Gripping her keys tightly between her fingers, she prepared herself to strike the man in the groin if he came close enough, all while considering possible escape routes.
Her fear intensified when the man chuckled menacingly and continued moving toward her, stretching his fingers wide, wiggling them, and maintaining his sinister hissing.
She added: “All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I heard a deep booming voice in the distance behind me. ‘OOOOOIIIIIII! Don’t you fucking touch her!’ roared the male voice. The words echoed through the field… A feeling of pure euphoria and relief came over me as I recognised the voice. It was as if the clouds had opened up and God Himself had answered my prayers! It was Jacob!”.
“He sprinted towards me until he caught me, as I fell into his arms, bursting into a fit of tears and wailing loudly,”
“‘The… there was a man,’ I gasped through my sobs, ‘a… a man in the bushes!’ He grabbed me and pulled my head into his chest with both hands, panting loudly, out of breath. ‘I know, I know, I saw him, shhhhhhh, he’s gone, he ran, it’s OK, I got you, you’re safe, sshhhhhh.'”
