Social media influencer Irene Gu has tragically died after being m£rd£r£d by her boyfriend.
Reports revealed that the incident began when Irene’s car was blocked, leading to a heated argument. During the confrontation, the suspect — identified as Liu — reportedly dragged her to a nearby stairwell and sl-t her thro£t.
The heartbreaking event comes shortly after Irene had posted evidence of domestic ab-se on social media, including photos of a formal complaint filed against Liu.
She wrote: “
“If you hit me, I’ll go to the police, right?”
Responding on how someone said why dont she block him, she added writing: “Someone asked me why don’t I just block him?
“Because he’ll find me, he even asked my colleagues if I was at work, disturbing my co-workers.
“Most importantly, I don’t owe him money!”
Before her death, Irene had first met Liu at a nightclub. Deeply in love, she quit her banking job to work in public relations, aiming to match his lifestyle and work schedule.
She eventually took a position as a PR officer at a nightclub in Taipei, Taiwan’s capital.
