Junior Doctor Suspended for Sleeping on Duty as Patient Bl££ds to D*ath

A junior doctor at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial (LLRM) Medical College in Meerut has been suspended after he was found sleeping while a patient bl*d to d-ath due to lack of medical attention.

The doctor, identified as Sunil Kumar, reportedly failed to respond to a patient who had been brought in after sustaining serious injuries in a road accident in a nearby village. The victim, who was suffering from excessive bl**ding, was left unattended and later died in the emergency ward.

The shocking incident came to light after a video of the sleeping doctor surfaced online, sparking outrage. In response, the Principal of LLRM Medical College, Dr. R.C. Gupta, announced Kumar’s immediate suspension.

In an official statement, Dr. Gupta said: “Taking cognisance of the video, the concerned JR, Dr Bhupesh Kumar Rai, was immediately suspended, and a three-member committee was constituted to probe the family’s allegations

“The accident victim was probably admitted to the hospital’s emergency ward around 1 am on Monday. We’ve also taken note of the fact that in the widely circulated video , the patient’s family members were pleading for treatment”
