A Nigerian woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing the emotional story of how her husband abandoned her just three weeks after their wedding.
In her video, she explained that shortly after their marriage, she left Lagos for work, while her husband remained in the city. Over time, she began to notice sudden changes in his behavior — he stopped picking her calls and ignored her messages.
According to her, she kept trying to reach out every day, asking if she had done anything wrong, but received no response.
A year later, she finally saw him again and asked for a conversation to seek closure. He then invited her to Lagos — and that’s when she learned the truth.
During their meeting, the man confessed that he had rekindled a relationship with his ex-girlfriend, whom he had accommodated after she asked him for a place to stay. He admitted they ended up sl**ping together, and because his wife trusted him deeply, he didn’t know how to break the news to her.
She also revealed that during their short time together as husband and wife, she supported him in building and furnishing their home, only for it all to be destroyed by the return of his ex.
