Donald Trump Diagnosed with Chronic Venous Insufficiency After Weeks of Battling Vein Disorder

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, weeks after reportedly battling symptoms related to a vein disorder.

According to a statement released by White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, Trump had experienced mild swelling in his lower legs, prompting a medical evaluation by the White House Medical Unit.

She said: “Bilateral, lower extremity ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency.

Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) is a condition that occurs when veins in the legs are unable to efficiently return blood back to the heart, often leading to swelling, varicose veins, and discomfort.

Despite the diagnosis, Leavitt reassured the public that Trump is in good health.
