Father Dies After Drinking Only Beer for a Month Following Divorce from His Wife

A 44-year-old Thai man, identified as Thaweesak Namwongsa, has tragically passed away after reportedly drinking beer continuously for one month following a divorce from his wife.

The incident occurred in Ban Chang district of Rayong, Thailand, where his lifeless body was discovered by his 16-year-old son, who had been living with him since the separation.

According to the teenager, his father stopped eating meals despite his daily efforts to cook for him. The boy explained that when he returned from school, he found his father lying unconscious, apparently after suffering a seizure.

Paramedics who responded to the emergency call found over 100 empty beer bottles scattered around the home. Sadly, they were unable to revive him.

An autopsy later confirmed that Thaweesak died as a result of excessive alcohol consumption.
