Popular Influencer Natalia Cavanellas Dies After Cosmetic Surgery in Brazil

Popular social media influencer, Natalia Cavanellas, has tragically died after undergoing a cosmetic surgery procedure in Brazil.

According to CNN Brazil, the 29-year-old influencer passed away on July 7th after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest during the procedure. The surgery was reportedly elective and took place in a fully equipped hospital under professional medical supervision.

A letter released by the legal representative of Dr. Edgar Lopez, the surgeon who performed the procedure, stated that all preoperative examinations were completed, and the procedure was carried out in line with standard safety protocols.

The translated statement from the letter reads:”Unfortunately, the patient developed a serious complication, compatible with pulmonary embolism, a rare event, but recognized in the medical literature as possible, even with all the preventive measures adopted”

The doctor, who reportedly has over 20 years of experience and specialized training, was said to have always acted with ethics, responsibility, and dedication, according to the letter.
