It Was Not Easy Convincing Priscilla to Convert to Islam – Juma Jux
Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has opened up about the emotional challenges he faced while trying to marry Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, and helping her accept his religion.
In an interview with Afrik Media, Jux revealed that the journey wasn’t easy, especially convincing Iyabo Ojo and navigating religious differences. He described the experience as “emotionally intense,” noting that love alone wasn’t enough to bridge the gap.
He shared that he sought guidance from religious scholars and leaders, who advised him to approach the situation with patience and understanding
“It was a little difficult convincing my wife to become a Muslim. I was receiving lessons from religious leaders, so there was a way that they were teaching me about how to convince her, and with time, she understood,” he said.
