Texas Flood D£ath Toll Rises to 59, Including 21 Children – 12 Still Missing
The devastating floods in Texas have now claimed the lives of 59 people, with 12 others still missing, according to Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha.

Among the confirmed fatalities are 38 adults and 21 children. Authorities have yet to identify 18 adult victims and 4 children, as recovery efforts continue in the wake of the disaster.

One of the most heartbreaking aspects of the tragedy surrounds Camp Mystic, a Christian girls’ summer camp located near the Guadalupe River, which swelled dangerously during the flooding. Sheriff Leitha confirmed that 11 young girls and one camp counsellor remain unaccounted for.
So far, five campers, including children aged 8 to 9, and the camp owner have been confirmed among the dead.
